This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 26th day of August, 1939, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [23], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions she has submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes.

3. As we find, conditions are developing rather in a normal manner.

4. There should be the expectancy, as we find, between the first and the eighteenth of September. [See 23-15, Par. R3.]

5. This as we find, then, only needs those general precautions as respecting sufficient but not overexercise, see?

6. Owing to circumstances as will arise, NOT of the physical but of NATURAL natures (weather), it would be better if the body would be in the hospital rather than in the home.

7. Take more of Calcios, - or chew chicken feet and chicken neck and you will have the same thing! Cook them well, then chew the bones thoroughly. This will supply calcium not only for the developing of the teeth of the body that is expected, but of the general bone and sinew structure also. For this is easily assimilated. Or, take a small quantity of Calcios once a day, on a little bread or as it is.

8. Ready for questions.

9. (Q) Should Codiron be left off or kept up? (A) Leave off until the second week after delivery, then begin again. THEN take three tablets each day, preferably at one time OR they can be divided, of course, if so desired.

10. (Q) Please advise regarding the osteopathic treatments now. (A) The relaxation of the muscular forces of the lower portion of the pelvis.

11. (Q) How often now? (A) Once a week should be sufficient.

12. (Q) Any special advice for Dr. Haynes? (A) As indicated, there should be little or no trouble other than that as may be expected at first delivery.

13. (Q) What causes pain in right side? (A) The necessity of the relaxation of the pelvis in that area, see?

14. (Q) Any changes indicated in diet other than that indicated? (A) Only as indicated.

15. We are through for the present.

R1. 10/17/39 Husband [1005]‘s letter: “[23] is getting along fine. Hasn’t had one bit of trouble so far.” [See readings Life and Physical which were secured for child [2015].]

R2. 11/30/42 See 23-16, a reading in the 2nd month of her 2nd normal pregnancy.

R3. GD’s note: Mrs. [23]‘s baby was born 9/29/39, a girl named [2015]. She weighed 9-1/4 pounds and was 19-1/2 inches long! This is according to the father [1005]‘s letter 10/1/39, who said: “Getting her here was something of an ordeal for all concerned, especially [23] - Oh, yes, you will get a request for a reading on [2018]. Have just finished selling Dr. Haynes on the idea. He is very interested.”
