GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes.
-
As we find, these are rather serious disturbances which produce the incoordination between the abilities of locomotion and the reactions to the sensory system.
-
This is rather a complication of disturbances, and would require long and tedious applications, - if there would be any permanent or effective help for the creating of the balance between the physical, the mental, and the activities of the body.
-
While there may be aid, we find this will require persistence in meeting the disturbances. For the hindrances arise from physical conditions as related to activities in the present as well as in the past.
-
Hence the conditions are concerned with both the mental and physical attributes.
-
In the present, we would only massage the body after its bath of morning and evening, along the cerebrospinal system - from the base of the brain to the end of the spine - with Peanut Oil.
-
Do this for six to eight weeks; being mindful that the diets aid in keeping better eliminations.
-
The massage should not be hurried, but should be so as to massage the Peanut Oil into the cerebrospinal system, and across the abdomen, - all that the body will absorb. And do this while the body is still warm from a tepid or hot bath, see?
-
Then, after the six to eight weeks, we would give further instructions for corrections with this body, [2304].
-
We are through with this Reading.

R1. 9/9/40 Mother’s ltr. to EC:
Dear Mr. Cayce,
I am again writing you about [2304]. I followed your instructions & found she responded some to treatment and wish you could give her another reading. Can you tell me why she is so restless & irritable at times & does she have any pressure anywhere on her spine.
Her diet I changed but did not notice much change with her from that.
Hoping to hear from you soon, I remain
Sincerely
