1. HLC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes.

3. As we find, the conditions here - while serious - may be materially aided by those administrations which we will suggest here.

4. This is the form of strep that is consuming the vitality and strength of the body, by the destruction of certain forms of the cellular forces in the system.

5. Then, this is primarily a glandular disturbance.

6. Each day for five days we would administer by mouth two minims of Atomidine in half a glass of water. Then withdraw blood from the forearm and make a culture of same; and then with the transfusion - or the day following same, or the next morning at least - inject this back INTO the system.

7. We will find that this will aid in setting the adjustments properly.

8. It may be necessary to do this some three to five times, but as we find it will be of material aid.

9. Do that.

10. We are through with this Reading.

Mr. Edgar Cayce, Association for Research and Development, Virginia Beach, Va.

Dear Sir:

Thanks for your letter of July 29th.

I have wanted to have you tell me how my son could be cured but haven’t been able to raise any money before this and now have only $10 which I am sending hoping that some arrangement may be made.

As I said before my son has Streptococcus Viridans [alpha hemolytic streptococci], and can you tell me if he can be cured, how he can be cured, or whether he can ever be permanently cured. If you can see your way clear to advise me, when I can now make only this contribution, I shall be thankful. I have had so much expense for his treatment that I’m in debt to nearly everyone. If you can’t just tear up the check. If you can, can you go ahead very soon and let me know as I’m afraid he can’t last long the way he is.

Please advise me very soon if possible.
