Time of Reading 11:50 to 12:00 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Tenn. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [243]; this we have had before.

  2. Conditions are not so good, owing to the lack of creating for the body - through those activities that have been suggested - the EXPECTANCIES within the physical forces for the keeping of their strength and their vitality.

  3. And then with the heat, the exhaustion, and then cold and congestion, we have left the lungs, the bronchials, the head, in a very bad IRRITATED condition.

  4. We would, however, follow those suggestions that have been made, and then add a stimuli for the system; keeping up the manipulative forces, being mindful of the diets that they are kept proper. Take TIME to eat and to eat the right thing, giving time for digestive forces before becoming so mentally and bodily active as to upset digestion.

  5. The stimulation that would be added, in addition to those things already given, we would prepare in this manner:

  6. Put 2 ounces of Strained Honey in 2 ounces of water and let come to a boil. Skim off. And then while warm, add IN THE MANNER AND IN THE ORDER AS GIVEN:

Syrup of Horehound…1/2 ounce, Syrup of Rhubarb…1/4 ounce, Glycerine…20 minims.

  1. Stir this well together, then add to same 6 ounces of Apple Brandy.

  2. Use this as an expectorant as well as a stimulant. If a teaspoonful is taken every two hours it will be the better.

  3. Do that.

  4. Follow those suggestions for the better conditions of this body.

  5. We are through for the present.
