Born July 16, 1906, [around 10:00 A. M.] in Sherman, Maine. Time of Reading 11:15 to 11:50 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, N.J.

1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as [2450].

3. In choosing the interpretations of the records as we find them here, these are so unusual as to call for real consideration in attempting to interpret the symbols and signs.

4. The entity has so seldom entered into the material plane that in the physical the entity oft lives in the realm that to many is unreal. Thus there are periods in which there must be a closer interpreting of those influences in the entity’s experience, that all may be made practical in a material life.

5. From the long sojourns in the environ of Uranus, there are times when the entity appears to be contradictory in itself. When the entity is “cold” to a subject, it is very cold. When it is enthusiastic, it bubbles over. Hence this becomes a real problem in the entity making the present activities as a practical thing.

6. Know that when one lives in this consciousness one is oft judged by the material things, and it is necessary that these be correlated.

7. The intuitive forces cause the entity to so easily live or express - even in the physical, as in color or even in music - the harmonies not of a third dimensional nature. This is well, provided - by the attempt of others to influence the entity in this or that direction in the use of same - that the entity is not led to fool self or to misinterpret. For, the entity would never consciously mislead one, but at times unconsciously the entity is misled by the material-minded.

8. Hence the entity finds it oft a problem, or hard, to meet those conditions that arises in the material activities. While the abilities in given directions are beyond compare, the ability to interpret that symbolized to the entity - in its attempt to bring same into material activity - does not always coordinate that without so as to respond to that intended to be interpreted within the entity itself.

9. Then, in order to gain the more in the spiritual and mental developments in the material plane, it is necessary that definite stands be taken as to ideals and sources of those urges which arise in other dimensional consciousness of the entity.

10. WE would direct the entity to that which is fully given in the 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th of John. Make those promises individual and applicable in the present experiences of the entity.

11. The astrological aspects are of the Uranian nature almost wholly. Thus there are the questionings of others as respecting all characters of the entity’s associations or activities. Yet the abilities of the entity in some directions are thought by some to be foolish, by others wisdom, by others uncanny, by others spiritual-mindedness.

12. The warning would be: Do not betray self, by attempting to meet or to respond - outwardly - for material purposes.

13. In giving the appearances of the entity in the earth, - all of these may not be given, and yet these that are indicated have been so far apart that they may be interpreted only by what the activities of the entity produce in the experiences of those who come under those manifestations of a consciousness aroused by same. This naturally of itself becomes confusing. Yet, if there will be the correlating, the coordinating of those purposes found in self and recognizable by self, WITH those promises of that found in Him, these should be turned to beautiful reactions in the hearts and lives of many.

14. As to the expressions in the earth, then:

15. Before this the entity was in the land of its present nativity, during the periods of the activities from other lands, or when other peoples entered into this land.

16. The entity was among the natives who in wonder, in awe, accepted the newcomers.

17. Thus we find the abilities of the entity materially to adjust itself to material circumstance, especially in strange environs and surroundings.

18. Those things of nature of every character become as signs, leads and directions for the entity. For the entity enters into same in its mental self. Forms, colors, figures, shapes become realities to the entity, - that do not exist for the entity’s associates or companions.

19. Hence in that sojourn little of the material activities were understood; yet the entity throughout the period gained.

20. In the present abilities we find the latent and manifested urge for the love of outdoors, of nature, - as in voice, as in sound; whether the waves upon the seashore, the wind in the pines, the song of the birds, or the music as of nature and the spheres combined.

21. The entity then was known as Chewing.

22. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, during those periods of the reign of the great queen Hatherpsut, - when there were the attempts of such material activities in placing those surroundings of the people as to defy, as well as to rule other lands; because of the bounty of food, not only for body but for the thought expressed through that experience.

23. The entity was among the group, and the leader in same, that decorated not only the temples but the palaces, the homes, the places of activity for individuals in their various choices of service as a united effort. In color, in figure, in design was the entity active.

24. Then the name was Pel-Itcolite. The entity did much to aid in unifying activities of many groups, and yet in self kept aloof - or high from others.

25. Hence in the present there are the needs, all the more, for an ideal; that the thought and activity be made to coordinate - in the coordinating of spirituality and materiality.

26. Before that the entity was in the land of Egypt during those periods when there were the turmoils and strifes which had arisen when the Priest was banished.

27. The entity then was among those of the offspring of the groups who had been preparing for the new undertakings in the land. Thus the entity was a mystery throughout that material experience, not only to others but to self; being able to enter most all spheres of consciousness through those periods of activity.

28. Thus the entity was one honored, yet feared, by those active in the Temple of Sacrifice. For, to the entity, those who would not permit or who would not submit to the experiences were cowards. For, according to the entity, each entering into that consciousness for the disposition of faults - in body or mind - was a mere state of consciousness. Also the activity in the Temple Beautiful offered the entity an outlet for its appreciation of the beautiful in color, in harmony, in music, in the realms that touched both the spiritual and the material.

29. Hence some find that inclination in the entity to be hard, stern, cold, calculating even - at times; yet the abilities are there. May they be correlated in spirituality that is creative and not binding by its lack of universality to the individuals the entity meets.

30. As to the abilities of the entity in the present:

31. Who may tell a lord how to rule, especially self. Rather, then, find self. Know that all that is creative MUST find material expression in self, as the creative forces in spirit use the mental forces in the material for the materialization of that as may be visioned, felt or acted upon in all conscious manners.

32. It is at times hard for the entity to lower its vibrations sufficient to comprehend the needs of many. Yet know that in Him, as expressed in the portion of His word indicated for the entity to study, all such may become a practical live-a-day experience; not merely wistful thinking, but that day by day in every way ye may grow in the awareness of how and in what manner to express the abilities, - as the artist, the combiner of colors, the combiner of harmonious influences in music with the picture.

33. Know that each interpretation in thy drawings needs to be interpreted in harmony of sound also. Put them together, even as He did in making his material, mental and spiritual manifestations into words and deeds that others - too - might know.

34. So may ye find the greater abilities to attune, or to give that helpful impetus to others in thy depicting of activities by combining music that fits, that BECOME the colors as well as the forms depicted.

35. We are through for the present.

B1. GD’s note: Miss [2113] had told HLC about Miss [2450] who had been doing “psychic” Egyptian paintings claimed by her “guide” to be of approximately the same period as the EC readings of Ra-Ta, etc. HLC had asked Miss [2113] to have Miss [2450] write a resume of what she had been given about her Egyptian period.

B2. 5/28/40 [2450]‘s Letter: “Here are a few facts about my period. Guide’s name T R U K - A - M A N - A - M E N. Died in the year 9964. Called his period 10,000 B.C. Religion of the Sun.

“My name in that period was Shalma. We both belonged in the City of Gold. The city stood in sight of the first set of pyramids. Two sets of pyramids were built, one on top of the other. First set belonged to the Civilization of the Dawn.

“The Pyramids were built and designed under the direction of the four Great Brothers who are called Rulers of Destiny and one is called Lord of the Desert.

“Neither set of Pyramids are empty.

“This city (City of Gold) will be located under my direction in Egypt. I own the Great plan and will help carry out the directions when they are translated. I will make two trips to Egypt. The first will be to make certain discoveries. The second trip will be to collect certain men to go on the record trip for the start of the work.

“My name as given by the Great Brothers is Princess Hambu-lack, ‘The Wise Princess.’ Two important cities at that time - Shah and Synox. Important Pharaoh of the City of Shah was Christo-Namo. These two cities were buried by a sand storm, as was the City of Gold.

“As you can see by this letter that writing is not my field to work in, but I hope that these things will interest and I am sure when we meet we will find many things to talk over. My Guide says your period is very closely connected with the one I am doing. If there is any other information I can give you, please let me know.”

B3. GD’s note: Later HLC met Miss [2450] and saw her paintings. He arranged for EC to give her a Life Reading, free of charge, to, as Miss [2113] expressed it, “really analyze and check up on her work.”

B4. 6/2/40 Miss [2113]‘s letter: “As you can see, [2450] cares nothing for spelling, punctuation, etc., and so I have copied the more important part of her letter for clarity’s sake. It is rather amazing when you consider that her mother is the successful owner and director of a small business school in …! It just seems as if [2450] lives most of the time in another dimension, so cares little for minor matters like that. However, I’m sure you will find her a most interesting, charming and wise young woman and I’ve no doubt you will be mutually helpful and enlightening in these matters of thrilling import.”

B5. 8/40 [2450]‘s letter to EC:

Dear Mr. Cayce:

I am returning the application for my reading and I am very thrilled about it.

I have been out of town for a couple of weeks and was more than delighted to find your letter upon my return.

I hope you and your Dad will not be disappointed in the things which the Reading will bring forth. I feel our meeting was a renewal of a very long friendship from many other lives. And I await my reading with the greatest pleasure and appreciation for the reading.

B6. 11/29/40 [2450]‘s letter to EC:

… Ave., …, New Jersey

Dear Mr. Cayce:

Many interesting things have developed in my work since I was at Virginia Beach: which reminds me were you able to get a reading for me. I remember we set the date for one but I did not get one from you. Were you able to get one and I not receive it: I am wondering if some one else at the house got it and forgot to give it to me. I should like it now.

I have thought of our good time at Virginia Beach many times and I should like to see you and your family again: Are you giving any lectures in N. York this year. I go in sometimes and if you were to be there I would plan to go in.

Have you ever [seen] that man from India you were telling us about [Personal psychic experience EC had several times of seeing East Indian master, etc.] and do you know if he is in N. York or near New York now. My Guide tells me he planed [?] the man from India was going to visit you again and give you a message for me. I am wondering if you have received any message about my work. My guide tells me that I must have another exhibition in N. York soon but I don’t know yet what date it will be. I will write you a note when I find out what date it is to be and perhaps you will have some one special who you would like to see it.

Do you have Mrs. [1602]‘s address? I have lost her address and I should like to invite her to attend the exhibit also.

B7. 12/4/40 EC’s letter to [2450]:

Dear Mrs. [2450]:

Have yours of the 29th - and have wondered what had become of you, have just returned from N.Y. after a three weeks visit there had two open meetings the 19th and the 26th at the Shelton Hotel - did you not receive notice that we would be there.

No we have not gotten your reading as yet - made two appointments for same the first time I was ill and couldn’t work - the next we did not hear as to whether you would or would not keep the period so we didn’t keep it either. Owing to the appointments on hand and Miss Davis going away for vacation don’t guess we could get this in before a few days after the 1st of the year - but would be glad to then if you like.

So will you write me - say during Christmas week and let me know just when would suit you best and will try and arrange it. Sorry not to have seen you while on this trip - as don’t know when will be back that way. Possibly in spring or next fall.

No have not met the “Gentleman” personally again lately - but was shown a picture of him while in N.Y. this time.

Mrs. [1602]‘s address is … Would like to know about when you have your showing in N.Y. have several would like to tell about it.

B8. 2/5/41 [2450]‘s Letter: “I hope you had a grand holiday season. I am just getting caught up in my work at last. My forces have kept me very busy these last few months as they tell me I am at the very best phase of my work and I am up to the place where I am supposed to meet a man who has the other half of my work which has something to do with the Gentleman we talked about together. When the meeting takes place we are to make the arrangements to go to Egypt! Am looking forward to my reading.”
