This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 10th day of June, 1941, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [2470], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes.

3. As we find, there continues to be some infectious forces, especially through the soft tissue of throat and nasal passages; some infection in the antrum. And the dripping or inflammation from same, with the secretions, tends to upset the stomach, also causing indigestion at times, producing weakness through the system.

4. We would prepare a solution that may be used as a spray, or in a spray, the basis of which would be Icthyol; this prepared sufficiently weak with alcohol and distilled water that it may be used as a spray. This necessarily should be prepared under the direction of a druggist or chemist. It is not necessary that this be monoicthyolated, or that it have any other treatment than this character indicated - if prepared properly. This is soluble, or may be dissolved, of course, in alcohol, but it is necessary that this be reduced by water - and only distilled water - so that it may be used in a spray for both nasal passages AND throat. This used consistently, night and morning, should allay and remove the type or character of infection that is in its nature congestive-producing; and thus should bring bettered conditions for this body. Do that.

6. (Q) What is the seat of the pus infection causing continual colds? (A) As we find, and as just indicated, it is in its nature a drying of the tissue; and thus is allowing infectious forces, see?

7. (Q) Would it be best to have the teeth out now? (A) Those that show disturbance in the roots should be removed. Test these by the X-Ray.

8. (Q) Would the medicine the dentist gives overcome the bleeding? (A) IF the Icthyol is used beforehand, it would.

9. (Q) Should I begin the calcium shots again? (A) We would preferable take calcium in a more soluble form, or that as may be better assimilated; such as in CALCIOS, and in calcium-producing foods - such as turnips, turnip greens, and those of that nature, as well as in the masticating of the small bony pieces especially of chicken - chicken neck, feet and the like. And spread lightly a whole wheat cracker with CALCIOS (as you would butter) and take every other day.

10. (Q) What causes the cold spot in left side of back, and what should be done to correct it? (A) Poor circulation. Stimulate better circulation through reducing the infectious forces. This may be done in the manner indicated, and aided with the proper amount, or better balance, of calcium.

11. (Q) What causes the noises in head at intervals? (A) From the tissue in face and in throat.

Do those things indicated.

12. We are through for the present.

Dear Mr. Cayce:

Herewith is the questions in mind, I would like to ask, if they are not brought out in the reading:

Is Red Corpuscles sufficient? Is there poison in the kidneys? Cause and treatment of Rectal trouble, especially the itching. Do teeth cause any of the illness? Is the heart normal? Advice for feet. Bunions. Foods to avoid. Is the use of the violet ray lamp we have helpful.

Mrs. Cayce: Of course, I know you will ask any questions you feel would be helpful as the reading progresses. I know that I have been forcing myself to keep going for a year, and I feel I can’t force much further, and so much depends upon me on account of [1519]‘s education.

Thanks, and God bless each of you always. We were so happy to see Gladys situated so nicely in her new home, and sorry we cannot see more of you dear people. Mr. [556] looks well, but he is far from well. He has those hemorrhages, at least every 2 to 3 months, and we seldom go anywhere. We just have to depend upon our friends coming, and we do miss the association of all those we have learned to love.
