EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2504] - this we have had before. In the general way and manner the physical conditions are still on the improve. It will require only time, precautions as regarding the whole of the system, and the keeping up of eliminations - both as related to that of the regular eliminations through the alimentary canal, as well as drainages in the lymphatic circulation. In the emunctory centers, where there are tendencies for fullness, these - as we find - will be well to massage with a weakened solution of iodine and aconite, that the circulation - as it takes up same in such conditions - may eliminate through their nominal or normal channels. Ready for questions.
-
(Q) What is cause and treatment for swelling in left hand? (A) Poor circulation from those centers in the brachial center, as related to those of the emunctories of the arm and other portion of same. Well to massage from the centers from which these radial flexus come.
-
(Q) What treatment for recently developed hernia? (A) That of the strengthening of the walls of the system as related to those conditions as exist. Keep same bound, to be sure.
-
(Q) What treatment for numbness? (A) This is the circulation, but it’s gradually being aided by those of the manipulations as increase circulation from the centers from which these radial forces come.
-
(Q) What is condition of teeth? (A) These need local attention as soon as it may be done.
-
(Q) Should Ipsab be used? (A) This is good, and will assist in cleansing and strengthening the conditions in this portion of system.
-
That is all the questions regarding this body.

Mr. Hugh Lynn Cayce, 115 West 35th. St., Virginia Beach, Va.
Dear Mr. Cayce:-
It is with great pleasure that I hasten to answer your kind letter of the 9th., inviting me to become a member of your board of directors. I hereby unhesitatingly accept your invitation. It has been my desire and ambition, since knowing all of you, to be identified in some way with the work. If your father feels that I am so qualified, I would really like to take a full time active part in the work in any capacity in which the information says I am fitted to work. This last offer, however, is merely a suggestion, as I do not wish to advance myself any further than the information says I should go.
I shall be present at 3 P.M. June 6th., unless some event, at present, unforeseen should happen to prevent my being present.
Just one thing with regard to the medical research laboratories mentioned in the present plan, I personally feel that they would be unnecessary if the readings are to be strictly believed, as it is my belief that the readings would and do take the place of any medical research, and that they are far superior to any medical research so far known, if I correctly understand the term “medical research”. It is my belief that if medical research laboratories are installed in the new institution that some M.D., regardless of how good or conscientious he may be, will at some time be tempted to use the apparatus or appliances in the laboratory for experimental purposes, in violation of the information contained in the readings, just as I am informed that Mr. [2504]‘s spine was punctured and that he was paralyzed, without such instructions being given in the readings. However, regardless of my personal opinion, if the readings say that medical research laboratories should be established in the institution I shall vote for the installation of such equipment. I feel that the work is far too big to allow a personal prejudice to sway me to vote against what the information says is for the general good.
With kindest personal regards and best wishes for yourself and all your family, friends and associates, I am,
Cordially yours, [signed] H. B. Harrell, Jr.
