This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 9th day of March, 1931, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [2504].

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. L. B. Cayce.]

Time of Reading 3:20 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Va. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2504] - this we have had before. There are tendencies for the body to become more and more set in the MOVEMENTS of the body, yet many of the responses are good.

  2. We will find that the massage - whether those of hand given or of the electrically driven - would be MOST beneficial. These should come a little DEEPER than just the external. While not so many corrections, yet many are necessary to prevent that tendency of the muscular forces and nerve centers along the cerebrospinal system, especially as for locomotion - either to those of the brachial or from the lower centers - these would respond better.

  3. We would keep much of those being given, save we would add those of the vibratory forces or DEEPER massage.

  4. The diet, the eliminations, are kept very good. With cold or congestion these become accentuated at times in the MOVEMENTS of the body, yet the DETERMINATION within the body-mental forces are MOST helpful. Keep these up, and we will find responses YET that will be most satisfactory. Ready for questions.

  5. (Q) What can be done to get strength and prevent stiffness? (A) Just as has been given. IF the centers were locomotion receives its impulses are stimulated through the manipulations, or the electrical driven vibrations, we will find these will be most helpful in gaining strength and in gaining STABILITY. We are through with this reading.
