GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2511].

As we find, the acute disturbances have arisen as pressures upon the optic forces from the excesses of uric acid in the system.

These have caused a mild reaction or condition of iritis, because of the pressures upon the nerve center from the spine that supplies nourishment to the eyes.

The applications that have been made are well.

BUT, WE would give that there be the gentle manipulative measures osteopathically; not deep but gentle, especially through the areas from the 4th dorsal to the 2nd cervical, and then across the neck and behind the ears. These would materially aid in setting up drainages; and it should be that type of treatment - an eliminating treatment, NOT a stimulating treatment; gently given.

Then be very mindful that there is not too much light, not too much of anxieties nor too much “stir” about the body. Keep the body quiet, see?

Gradually set up eliminations by the use of a small quantity of Watermelon Seed Tea once a week - about two ounces; as a stimuli to aid the activity of the kidneys, so as to drain off so much of the poisons that have caused the pressures in the nerve system; else - if this uric poisoning is allowed to FILL the optics - it may cause greater distress by too much dilation, and impair vision.

After better drainages have been set up, - that is, after the osteopathic treatments have been taken for about two weeks, and also the Watermelon Seed Tea, - begin also with the electrical forces from the hand machine Violet Ray, but using ONLY the rod applicator that is held in the hand. Take only for a half a minute in the beginning, about twice or three times a week; and then, after the first week, increase to a minute, - never more that a minute and a half, you see. But do not begin this until the other applications have been made for at least two weeks, to set up drainages.

(Q) Should there be any local application to the eye? (A) Only as has been indicated for keeping away the secretions from same, - local antiseptics, see?

(Q) What should be done about the teeth? Some have been extracted. Is this the source of the infection? (A) This is an EFFECT, but not the cause. The cause, as we have said, arises from an excess of uric forces - hence the fever temperature.

(Q) Is it necessary to take out other teeth? (A) All that show infection should be taken out. X-Ray them.
Do these, and we will find better conditions. DO NOT DISREGARD THE MAKING OF THOSE OSTEOPATHIC ADJUSTMENTS TO SET UP DRAINAGES, as we have indicated.
