EC: Yes, we have the body here - this we have had before. Now, the general conditions in this body show good and bad effects in the system. Much of this is produced by the NOMINAL reaction of the nature as caused by retraction. With the relaxation of the tautness as is produced, both in the dorsal and in the lumbar regions, there becomes rather the heaviness to the pelvic organs. These being in the state of disturbance, and being the first, or the OLDER condition, the system has attempted to adjust itself to abnormal flow of nerve reaction in the system. With the changing and the correction of position, and the reduction of the plethora or swelling as is produced in the organs of the pelvis, there comes then that NATURAL result of, as it were, a give and take, or a full flow - then a reaction as would swing, or throw back, as far as HAS BEEN, the normal nerve reaction. This should be expected. This, however, should not cause worry, for the body must KNOW that the conditions have been of long standing, and that there must be the proper precautions taken, that the conditions are not aggravated, either from that of mental worry, overtaxation in a physical manner (though it does worry the body to remain idle!) - but to act in the manner as will allow NATURE to ADJUST itself - for, THIS - this would be well for all physicians of every character to remember: That they may ONLY aid nature to adjust ITSELF. You can’t force nature to do anything! Only AID it in adjusting itself to meet conditions.
-
Now, as for the pelvic condition - THIS shows more improvement. These douches, these packs, however should be more ALKALIN in their reaction. This will reduce more and more the tendency of this throbbing or fullness as occurs, and reduce the irritation to those portions of the system as carry the reflex to the organs of the system as related to kidneys, reducing the bladder pressure ON same, also of those organs as affect in the eliminations in a nominal flow from the system. Do that. Keeping those packs occasionally in the treatments, where the packs of wet heat, or packs would be applied to the body in lumbar, sacral AND in dorsal, JUST before the manipulations are given. This will enable the relaxation of the deeper tissues as are involved in the system. Be mindful that the eliminations as through the alimentary canal are kept near normal. Do not allow the colon to become OVER clogged while the system is adjusting itself. Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Are there ulcerations on the uterus? If so, give treatment? (A) The packs and the douches will care for this plethora and this irritation. NOT an ulcer, in the sense that same is active in itself, but rate as from irritation from too much acidity, and for the position, the general pressure - hence THAT is why, as was given, that the ADJUSTMENTS in the DORSAL should be near accomplished BEFORE there was the reaction from applications in the pelvic organs, to REDUCE the amount of pressure and to aid the system in being able to collaborate or coordinate in its activity. Not ulcerations, but rather that of as lacerations, from drawing of tissue in the manner as to produce soreness, see?
-
(Q) How often should vaginal douches be used? (A) Three to five days.
-
(Q) What solution should be used in the vaginal douche? (A) One that is alkalin reacting.
-
That is all the questions.
-
We are through with THIS reading.

R2. 12/20/29 Husband, [1180]‘s letter:
…, OHIO
Dear Mr. Cayce:-
As I hear from Mrs. [2519] nearly every day I get to hear from you occasionally and I am indeed glad you are getting along teward [toward] being your self again and I sincerely hope you will continue to improve.
Mrs. [2519] seemed to be much worried about herself as her check up reading gave her the idea that she should stay longer and she knows that I am very much pressed for money at the present time and that worries her for she wants to be sure to pay as she goes. I know what you told her at the beginning but she is different than most folks.
I am going to ask this if it is not asking too much that you have a talk to her your first opportunity and tell her to cut out her worrying that her bill will be taken care of and then have the Secretary send all her bills from now on to me so she will not even know what it is costing and I will send the money as fast as possible. I might be a little behind on some of it but not much as cash is awful scarce here but I have income enough to keep her on but am a little behind on it. But I would sell anything I have for what I can get in order to keep her there for I am sure she needs the treatments very badly and I am so glad that she is getting them. But will not do her much good if she is to be worrying about the dollars all the time but of late years that is all she has had on her mind so do not think she has just got that way since coming to your place as it is of long standing also same as her other ailments.
Understand Mr. Cayce we are well pleased with the rates that we are getting and we feel there is no equal to it but due to her condition she has not been herself entirely and worries about something all the time we are virtually in good shape. Have had a lot of expenses the last year that I had to stand myself after expecting to have help but I am coming along alright.
I am very sorry to have to trouble you with this and hope you can conker her and keep her until she is in shape that she can take the treatments here at least. Wishing all of you a Merry Xmas and a happy successful New Year.
Sincerely, your old friend [1180]
