This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Va. Beach, Va., this 30th day of January, 1933, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [253], new Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., recommended by Mr. [437].

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mildred Davis and L. B. Cayce.]

Time of Reading 3:20 to 3:30 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [253], and those conditions; also that which has been outlined for the body concerning the physical conditions of the body.

  2. Now, as we find, there are conditions that disturb the better equilibrium of the body. These have reached those proportions where they are making within themselves (the disturbing forces) that which prevents the normal equilibrium being brought about; and they have reached those proportions where that absorption of the conditions (in the present position) would be too problematical for any attempt to be fully or wholly assimilated.

  3. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, [253]:

  4. In the blood supply, this we find shows the effects of those disturbing forces that produce plethoras, and the accentuation of conditions that disturb the muco-membranes of the body; both as to those in the throat and head, as well as those in the torso and the eliminating forces of the system. These are SYMPATHETIC one with another.

  5. Hence, having reached these conditions where they become excessive in themselves - and have SEPARATED themselves, as we find, the better condition would be for the REMOVAL (operative) OF those disorders that disturb the body in this direction.

  6. The effects that these have upon the general system are to produces the returning pains that disorder, distend and make for the high nervous condition, as well as the general disabilities throughout the physical and mental activities of the body.

  7. Hence, as we would find, one that would be preferably in the field of this particular class of operative forces would be the better to make such an operation; or a SPECIALIST in this line or field of work.

  8. We would do that.

  9. Ready for questions.

  10. (Q) Will you please give the name of a surgeon I should employ to perform this operation? (A) Anyone that is a specialist in this particular field of operation.

  11. We are through for the present.
