1. MD: Should we attempt to give information through these channels to answer the seeking of parents for their child, as per request in letter which I hold in my hand? [See 254-72 Background.]

2. EC: In seeking information of such characters, it would be well that all consider from the mental, the material, the physical and the soul activities. There are many things that may be done it is best not to be done. For, while there may be given those things that might make for the easing of the conscious desire, yet - are these [experiences?] not needed?

3. We are through.

R1. 4/16/34 EC’s letter to Mr. [4124]‘s wife: ”…It certainly is with a great deal of regret that I am having to write Mrs. Susseles that I am unable to obtain anything that is of help at this time. I appreciate very much your faith and hope that you must have had in me to induce her to write, and I am sorry that whatever the sources of aid may be to refuse to be of help.

I know and realize that there are many things that we may be, possibly, able to do that we must not do. Apparently, the information is of the opinion in this case, just as it was that we should not take advantage of our abuse when we were in New York a year ago to obtain money from those who abused us. We do not understand. We can simply say we will try to be guided by that that comes.

I do hope for this mother, though, that peace that may come from God who doeth all things well, no matter how hard it may be.

Asking to be remembered to Mr. [4124], and with kindest personal regards, I am sincerely…”

R2. 5/23/34 Dave Kahn wrote EC: “In reference to the Susseles child, you no doubt know that they found her through a phone conversation. They picked her up and returned her home to her mother. So I suppose everything is happy with them at this time. With love to all, As Ever,” [DEK]

B1. 4/11/34 Parents requested a rdg. for their missing daughter.

B2. 4/11/34 Mr. [4124] and his brother-in-law phoned about the brother-in-law’s 15 yr. old daughter having disappeared. They hoped Mr. Cayce would see if he could locate the girl.

B3. 4/12/34 Mr. [257] wrote: “[4124] phoned me last night and his brother-in-law tonight. They are frantic over their 15 yr. old daughter. I had hoped you could come here, as I feel we could together help them. I believe the girl went away and now is too proud to go home, and probably got a job somewhere. They believe she was disappointed in her report card and withdrew $10 from the bank and went away for a while. I will cooperate in any way I can to help find her, if you are willing to try it… I’ve talked to them 3-4 times.”
