This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 1st day of July, 1944, in accordance with request made by mother, Mrs. [2454], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research and Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading Set bet. 3:30 to 4:30 P. M. Eastern War Time. …, Florida.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time with suggestions for further corrective measures, answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before. There are many changes in the body.

3. There are those tendencies for the manipulations to go too much toward the head. Pull these away from the head, as the cocoa butter is used to massage the body, when suggestions and exercises in the mental and material things are applied to the body. These will have the effect of removing those tensions causing a minor hemorrhage from the nose.

4. But if these are used consistently, the massages and suggestions, we will find results; and as he is resting use the Radio-Active Appliance so as to cause an equalization in the extremities of the body. Do have these so that they may recharge, as it were, the body-energies dissipated through destructive forces to inflammation which causes a “hangover” as it were.

5. These kept up every few weeks for a few days at a time, we’ll soon see a great deal of change.

6. (Q) How long and how often should Radio-Active be used? (A) The Radio-Active taken at least an hour three times a week or every other day until there is better equilibrium established, and the massage should follow same.

7. (Q) What is condition of tonsils and adenoids? (A) There have been some conditions in the adenoids that cause a great deal of aggravation, but with these massages and the use of the Radio-Active we should reduce each of these to nearer normal reaction to the body-forces.

8. (Q) Should previous treatments, cold showers, etc. be continued? (A) Keep these up.

9. (Q) What is present condition of blood and body tissues? (A) As indicated from the overflow, too much blood, too great a quantity of blood in and through the extremities’ circulation, but the extremity is in the torso of the body rather than in feet and arms.

Follow through with these and we will have bettered conditions.

R1. 7/12/51 Mother [2454]‘s report:

When giving the treatment - massaging away from the head - I also gave the suggestion (that the blood go to his feet - telling him to also direct the blood to his feet) and found the response to be unusual and outstanding - far beyond what might be just called natural.

The radio active appliance was used, and I do feel that helped a great deal.

Although I had tried to give the showers, suggested, - and tried again, this I was never able to give successfully.

The spring of 1951 the pain in the legs - the drawing feeling

• of being cramped came about, at which time we took him to Dr. Richardson for series of about 25 treatments - but the condition disappeared after the first 5 treatments. We also took him out of the marching band at Dr. Richardson’s suggestion.

The Asthma has been completely cleared for four years. In addition to the other things used - I also used the “Christ Light” - and whenever the attacks came I used the color blue in his room. I feel that this had a definite influence in bringing about healing.

He still occasionally takes a cold - and there are some slight signs of congestion in the chest - but the Asthmatic attacks do not return.

R2. 4/21/53 Dr. M. L. Richardson’s report: “You should have seen him [2542] when he first came up here. I worked on him for nearly three years, off and on, and now he is really the picture of health.”
