This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at Phillips Hotel, Room 115, Dayton, Ohio, this 17th day of November, 1923, in accordance with request made by herself - [2553].

Time of Reading 11:10 A. M. …, Wisconsin.

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. We have had this before you see.

2. (Q) What causes the periodical swellings to the right side of the face? and over the eye, and what should be done to meet this condition? (A) (Repeating question) Produced by the condition in the left side of the lumbar region, where the circulation through lymphatic connection with the pineal gland gives their incentives, and the diversion of this circulation causes the tissue to be taken and the enlarging of the tissue where branches of this nerve forces and lymphatic circulation center the head, where that it is taken care of in the manner you see. To assist and to keep this from occurring, those manipulations that center in the fourth lumbar, (left side) so that the circulation is diverted to its proper channels, and the body will be able to eliminate these. We have something of the same condition in the lower limb, opposite side of body. This you see is in direct connection with the condition, see? this side. While we find the circulation is diverted and comes, or enters, the head in the opposite side of body, see? Hence, the soreness the body finds about the brachial plexus, and the dull, leadened, feeling to the head when this is diverted, see? through the manner electrical vibration through blood force, as was given with this manipulation, so we prevent this from being carried in this manner. We will stimulate the action of kidneys and liver in this, and it will produce sickness, or nausea, through this portion of the body, but this should be diverted to its proper channel, see? Then, give the blood that incentive, through the inhalation, that will destroy the effect of this condition passing through liver, kidneys and intestines, see? or so lungs will throw off much and the respiratory system will.

3. (Q) Is it necessary only to have the right molar tooth removed, or do the teeth need attention generally? (A) That is not to be done at present, except local condition, see? Give that a little time.

4. (Q) Are there any evil effects to the system as a result of these conditions? (A) Secondary.

5. (Q) What is the best diet for the body at the present time? (A) Those that give nerve and tissue building force, with much iron as the body can assimilate, see? Stimulation will be that of beef, iron. Wine is good for the body. Some wine, or champagne, would be good for the body, you see, for the stimulation in the body to create that digestion necessary for elimination of poisons in system, see? Are the other portions of the body in good condition now? Very good. Of course, we will find with this condition corrected, as we have given, there will be some troubles over the whole system, see? but only will be of a little while in its duration, if the body wills itself to get well.

6. (Q) Should the left limb or feet be massaged at all? (A) Electrical massage - yes.

7. (Q) Is there a special name for the machine as prepared by the Western Electric Company, as given before? (A) There is. We have it here. We will not give it. We have told you WHERE to get it. Do that.
