GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

As we find, conditions are very serious.

The strep infection that is destroying the red blood cells weakens the heart condition also.

Those applications, the excess oxygen, the shock to the whole system, are not aiding.

As we find, the hope would be in giving immediately an injection - hypodermically - of liver extract.

Then in two hours give internally one drop of Atomidine in a little water.

If there is the response, on the morrow give ALL the liver - the juices of liver - that the body can assimilate; and again the liver injection AND the one drop of Atomidine in water following same.

R1. 8/9/41 Mrs. [1100]‘s letter: “Mr. [2566] passed yesterday, about 1:45 P.M. Central Daylight Savings Time. The doctors gave him the Atomidine and liver extract on Monday and there was a very slight response. However, they gave him sulfanilamide also, which they had given him when he first entered the hospital two weeks before. Although they (he and his wife) were very dear friends of ours we did not know that he was ill until the Sunday I called you. She had tried to get me on the phone several times, without success, as she wanted a reading sooner. She asked me to thank you for your efforts and she is deeply grateful… Am enclosing a check for the reading and phone call. Thank you so much for being so kind and sweet.”
