EC: Yes, we have had this before.
-
As we find, in the general physical forces of the body there needs be rather those precautions; and again we may say to this body, take ALL the body is given or don’t take it at all; neither under do it nor overdo it! In this case it has been overdone!
-
Take those activities that have been outlined for the proper eliminations; but with a high nervous energy, high nerve tension, to take electrical vibrations to such MEASURES as to PRODUCE congestions between the activity of the superficial and the internal circulation, is bad! and with such we would CONTINUE to have dizziness, periods when one of the limbs - legs or arms, or some portion of the body - has the feeling apparently as if it has gone entirely to sleep, as if it might be paralyzed! These have been the effects of such treatments.
-
LOW forms of electrical vibration for this body are MUCH preferable to the high frequency. Hence the plain violet ray and the sun light are much preferable, when the rubdowns and the sweats are taken. These should be taken, as we find, about once or twice a week for three or four treatments, or four or six treatments.
-
And we would be mindful of the diet. Don’t overdo the thing; but keep an even keel. Beware of too much sweets.
-
And we will find we will bring the general conditions of this whole system into a much more normal activity.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) What exercise, if any, should I take? (A) The general setting-up exercise for three minutes; a minute and a half each morning and a minute and a half each evening, would be WELL for the body, other than two times a week taking the other treatments and massage, see?
-
(Q) What should I eat? (A) Keep more alkalin than acids; don’t eat too much meats, but more alkalin - hence more vegetables, more fruits, and things that keep an alkalin force in the system.
-
(Q) What is best for my general welfare mentally and physically? (A) As indicated, keep near to an even balance in all its activities, and we will make for the better conditions in this body. Do that.
-
We are through for the present.
