This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 17th day of February, 1939, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. [257], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]

Time of Reading 10:50 to 10:55 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.

  1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions he has submitted, as I ask them:

  2. EC: Yes. Ready for questions.

  3. (Q) Please examine the first and second maxillary upper left molars and tell us whether there is an infection at the roots of these two teeth. (A) There has been and is some infection at the roots of these teeth, that need local attention, - as well as a general supplying to the system of those foods which will enable the body to gain more of the vital forces necessary to combat infectious forces through the system. Such as celery, lettuce, radishes, onions and the like, - and these fresh and the GREEN rather than those that have been or are bleached - these would be just a portion of the diet each day.

  4. (Q) Has the bone been infected in any way? (A) Only the superficial or soft bone there.

  5. (Q) Has the general system been affected in any way? (A) To the extent as has been indicated, that there needs to be a general tonic force for better eliminations of such infectious conditions, - through the use of those raw vegetables as indicated.

  6. (Q) Has the circulation been affected in any way? (A) This is a part of the whole condition.

  7. (Q) Will waiting to take care of these teeth be harmful to the system or should the corrections be made at once? (A) The sooner the better.

  8. (Q) What is meant by local attention to these teeth? (A) Just what it says! Local application by one who is equipped and has knowledge of such; who makes such applications locally!

  9. (Q) Please examine the X-Rays which are in Dr. Nover’s file at 260 W. 72nd St. under the name of [257] and see what should be done to these two teeth. [Dr. Philip P. Nover, D.D.S.] (A) Let such examinations be made by him, as we have indicated, as to this condition.

  10. (Q) Now examine the upper right side of the mouth. Is there any infection there - the upper molars on the right side? (A) These also need some local attention, but there is not so great a disturbance there as in the other areas. In the front, as we find a bridge would be more effective in preventing any disturbance, than the present arrangements - if it is properly done.

  11. (Q) Should they be placed on a removable bridge? (A) On a removable bridge.

  12. (Q) Are there any ill effects to the body now on account of the teeth? (A) Only in a mild or general manner that becomes more of a specific or acute condition by a general condition of cold, congestion or excess poisons, or lack of elimination through other portions of the body.

  13. (Q) Does the blood show any infectious results of any kind at the present time from this or other causes? (A) This would be dependent upon just when such tests would be made. Very little unless it were taken at such times that there is lack of the proper eliminations.

  14. (Q) What will do most for the body to give it the mental freedom during the next six months? (A) This depends upon what PHASE of the mental activities is to be considered, and from what judgement same would be taken. That which makes for the better constructive spiritual forces will make for a better BALANCING and releasing of the body, mentally, physically, spiritually, for better activity.

In the attitude, then, and the activities of the body, do not do or think that which is condemned by the consciousness of the body. This would be then in the attitude ever of constructive thinking and activity in all phases of the experience, to bring the better release, the better mental, physical and spiritual atmosphere for the body.
