GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions; also suggestions for help and relief of this body, answering the questions, as I ask them:

EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2601].

As we find, there are conditions that are prevent the better physical functioning. These are affectations to the nervous system; in an unusual manner, though; producing very definite effects in the body.

These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, [2601] we are speaking of:

The blood supply indicates a form of anemia, and especially in the relationships to the katabolism of the system, more than the metabolism.

This arises from a form of lesion that exists in the ganglia in the areas from the 3rd, 4th and 2nd dorsal, and in the vagus center at the 3rd and the 4th cervical. The lesion is in that area between the 4th and 2nd dorsal, and is of such a nature that the reflexes from same - under most any circumstance - cause a swelling in the nasal passage, - as in part of antrum, and produces pain in the head; this between the eyes and at times to the temple.

These, then, are conditions of the nerve system, producing reflexes that cause almost hysteria, or hysterics to the body at times. This naturally produces a strain upon the whole of the nervous system, and reflects itself in the activity of the digestive system, of course in the activity of the organs of the pelvis at times, and to the general GLANDULAR system. But it is of the nature that arises from the subluxation which has formed a circular lesion that deflects the impulses to those areas indicated.

Not that this occurs at all times, but with the least excitement, or with overtaxation of the body physically or mentally, and apparently at times without either of these, merely the atmospheric pressures will produce this swelling, or this reflex action through the impulse from the area to the sensory system.

These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [2601].

In meeting the needs of these conditions, those that are existent must be taken into consideration as well as measures that would CORRECT the deflecting of impulses and activities in the body.

First, then, we would have prepared a spray that will affect the activities to the nasal passages. The basis of this should be Monolated Ichthyol. This, to be sure (the Ichthyol), is soluble in alcohol, in which it would be dissolved first and then sufficient Distilled Water added to make it into a spray that would not be too severe for the body. This should be done under the direction of a pharmacist or a physician.

Use this spray about once each day, which will be often enough unless there is a very serious attack. Use this in an atomizer, preferably of the DeVilbis make.

Have the corrections osteopathically, in the areas indicated; preferably by such as Dobbins.

Also once each day we would use the low electrical forces as may be had from the Radio-Active Appliance. While this does not carry an electrical charge outside the body, this used correctly will equalize pressures in the body by the equalizing of impulse - nerve impulse; especially in the extremities of the body. Use this for an hour each day, just before retiring; or if preferable use it half an hour during the afternoon and half an hour when ready to retire. If used in the latter manner, make the connections to the same parts of the body at both applications. But each day alternate the attachments in the manner indicated; when attached to the right wrist, attach the other plate to the left ankle - just inside the ankle and just inside the wrist, you see, where the pulsations to the body act with the charge of the Appliance. These attachments we would keep alternated; left wrist, right ankle; right wrist, left ankle.

Do these; being mindful that the diet is of those things easily assimilated, that build up body-resistances. Have often in the diet such as lots of citrus fruit juices, a great deal - and often - of carrots and carrot juices - these used both raw and cooked. Liver should be used in the diet twice to three times each week, - this never fried but broiled.

Not too much sweets. Have plenty of raw foods as well as well cooked foods.

(Q) Why are the attacks more severe in the morning than at any other time? (A) This is when the atmospheric pressure is often the more changed. This effects the body more at such periods, as the body is sensitive to atmospheric changes or pressures.

(Q) What causes the severe headaches which occur every few weeks? (A) These are a part of the same conditions. Use those applications indicated, - the spray, the osteopathic corrections - having at least fifteen of these; and using the diets as well as the Appliance daily; and we will find we will correct the conditions.

My dear Mr. Cacey:
In the reading which I had recently you suggested a spray of Monolated Icthyol for my nose. I have tried to have this prescription filled thru Dr. Dobbins but he was unable to get it for me. His pharmacist got in touch with the manufacturers of Icthyol but reported that they had no knowledge of Monolated Icthyol. I would appreciate your advising me further on this matter.

R3. 4/23/59 GD’s comment: Our local druggist at Meredith’s says the American name is now Icthymall and it is used principally in ointments but may also be prepared as a spray. It is a German product and the German subtitle on the package is Ammonium Ictho-Sulfonate. He thinks this is the name Mr. Cayce meant in the reading.
