This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 25th day of March, 1941, in accordance with request made by the husband, Mr. [1467], through phone request of aunt, Miss [307].

  1. HLC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them.

  2. EC: Yes, we have the body here.

  3. As we find, there are rather the acute conditions with the throat and the membranes of same. These are more from the general debilitation than from a specific cause.

  4. Yet, to prevent any infectious forces, or to prevent the infections causing strep in any way, - we would have the throat painted with a weak solution of Nitrate of Silver.

  5. Then we would use Pure Hog Lard as an ointment, upon a flannel about the throat each evening especially - keeping this warm.

  6. Keep out of drafts.

  7. And build up the body by the more easily assimilated foods.

  8. Keep a well balanced diet with cereals and citrus fruits; alternating these every day or two, using the steel cut oats and the cracked wheat cereals, cooked a long time, alternated every day or so with the citrus fruit juices.

  9. Each day take plenty of beef juice, but sip same very slowly. Do not take so much at once, but take it three or four times a day.

  10. These as we find, with precautions, should bring the bettered conditions for this body.

  11. Ready for questions.
