This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 15th day of September, 1933, in accordance with request made by self - Mrs. [264], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. L. B. Cayce.]

Time of Reading 11:05 to 11:15 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, N.C. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [264]; this we have had before.

  2. As we find, when the administrations of those applications that have been given become a matter of routine, little or no appreciable results are seen; unless it be that there occurs a gradual lagging of the responses.

  3. Not that any fault is found with anyone, other than the natural - or normal, at least - tendencies of individuals that make applications of the suggestions to become that of routine, or rote, in their activity.

  4. In the present, as we find, there should be the proper precautions taken respecting application of those vibrations coming through the wet appliance. Keep this intact, and when the attachments are made (see that all contacts are made, for some of these are loose and at times do not give off the charge, but when they are given), the manipulations and adjustments should be made a little more specific and a little more deeply in the areas from which the organs receive their impulse for supplying nutriment to nerve and blood supply, to the organs rather then of the pelvis; so that the normal flow or throw-off of eliminating periods is enacted. And we will see there will be greater quantities, and a change in the type of eliminations at periods.

  5. We would be mindful that the adjustments, then, are not just routine; but that these give the opportunity in the present conditions for these to serve their action in eliminating more thoroughly.

  6. Ready for questions.

  7. (Q) In the wet battery, is it in the application of plates on body that the connections are loose or not contacting? (A) Connection of the plates, and at times the plates are not wholly intact. See, one is to be from the lumbar area; the other over the CENTER of the bulbous growth itself - see? Do not press hard enough to cause irritation, but that there may be perfect contact directly with the body - to be sure.

In the manipulations and adjustments, stimulate those centers that aid in supplying nutriment to the Fallopian Tubes, the uterus, and to the ovaries themselves. These, of course, extend from the 10th, 11th, 12th dorsal, as well as the lumbar areas.

Do this. As we find, there will be better responses in the near future than we have had before.

  1. We are through for the present.

[Dear Mrs. [264]: -

This seems more a direction for Dr. Brenner. But sounds very encouraging, doesn’t it?

From Mr. [853] over the phone last night I understood you were going to see Mr. Hume; I hope you’ve had good news from him, or will have. [See 264-33] Another storm warning is out for tonight here; hope if we do have one it won’t destroy anything or anybody, and that it won’t be so severe as to spoil your trip tomorrow.

If anything needs to be done to the battery, Gray is here now - and will be for several weeks. Perhaps when you come to see us (soon) you can bring it and let him give it a good looking-over; then you can take it back with you.

Heaps of love from all. I believe this is your most optimistic reading yet!

Always the same, Gladys]
