This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 21st day of October, 1929, in accordance with request made by self - [2682].

Time of Reading Cayce Hospital, 4:10 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Virginia Beach, Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [2682] here. This we have had before. Now, the conditions are much improved with this body. There are indications that there are, from the effusion from the condition as existed, some reactions in the skin not wholly in accord with the better conditions. While the healing has taken place very good, the body should then be mindful of the CHARACTER of the exercise until the strength and the blood supply is wholly in the proper coordinating forces or manners in the system. With this, then, the body may begin with the general work or exercise, and by being careful and mindful should eliminate the disturbances from the system. Do not strain self in any way by lifting, stretching, or too much of the iron elements in the system. Keep rather the even balance between a potash and the iodine diet. These should be, then, that as will bring the better conditions for this body. Ready for questions.

2. (Q) What is the nature of the tumor on right knee cap? (A) Only that of the skin reaction, or the activity of the capillaries or lymph forming in the system, showing proper drainage is not taking place and eliminations not carried on properly.

3. (Q) Is tumor apt to return on right side again, or any part of body? (A) No.

4. (Q) Is the wound sufficiently healed for patient to return to work? (A) If proper precautions are taken, it is.

5. (Q) Should patient be given cathartics? (A) Rather those of the nature that are a stimuli to the activities of the elimination, then as an excitement to the mucus of the intestines. Hence the diet should be the better part of such stimulation, though it may be necessary to at times take such as act as a stimulation to the excretory system.

6. (Q) When may the patient return? (A) When it chooses.

Dear Mrs. Atkinson,

I’m feeling fine, and hope that every one at the hospital feels as good as I do. I do feel as though another reading might help me. Won’t you please see what you can do abut it.

I just want to know, if I can go back to work without fear of injuring myself.
