1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [271]. Now as we find, the conditions in many ways are satisfactory. While there are those periods when the reactions in the mental forces of the body appear contrarywise, much of this - as we find - is primarily produced by those of irritations with the body, and the mental reactions that come to the body later make for the same character of reaction in the mental being. Much in the same way and manner as when a telegraph instrument is tapped at one end, eventually there are the same reactions at the other; or in the telephonic communications, a jingling or cross wire, or short circuit, by reactions that make for the developing of the impulse created by the very character of the treatments being administered. These as we find in the battery applications, in part, or at times, are well; at others they are not so well, in the connections or the manner of applications. The periods in the treatments for rest, as we find, should have begun in this present week; not before; the rest period for five days, then begin again with the battery that carries the electronic influences through the medicated applications.

2. The suggestions should also be continued, that are to be given in those periods when the subconscious influences have the effect upon the body, but these should be consistent with the activities of those associated with and those about the body in other periods. To make the suggestions of meditation, thought and prayer in one period, and then be cross, rude or produce any reactions in another will certainly jingle the bells in the wrong positions or places.

3. In the general reaction, however, if these will be carried along in the lines that have been suggested, we will find that we will make for better conditions for the body, [271].
