This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Virginia, this 26th day of July, 1928, in accordance with request made by self - Mrs. [2710], via husband, [2709].

1. EC: Yes, we have the entity here, and those relations with the universe and universal forces, as are latent and exhibited in the present entity in this experience in the earth’s plane.

2. In entering the earth’s plane we find the entity coming under those influences in Leo, Jupiter, Venus, Mercury, and Uranus. These - while they are as influences in the earth’s plane - are as innate or tentative influences, and are applicable to the ability of the individual through its individuality to apply will’s influence as respects same. In this influence, then, we see tendencies, inclinations, sudden thought - especially at periods when these are in conjunction with earth’s forces in the natural tendency as comes through relativity of positive or negative conditions in the earth’s forces, as applied to individual sojourn in various spheres, as become amenable to existent conditions. Now get that!

3. In THIS individual we find these apply WITHOUT respect to [will’s] influence:

4. Then, one strong minded, yet governed - or innately high minded - without that haughtiness.

5. One of exceptional abilities in many respects, with exceptional abilities, high mindedness, noble thought.

6. At times, by others - especially those of Scorpio’s influence - considered rather “nutty”, though of the OWN forces, and in that line with those that are amenable to mental ability, nobleness of purpose, and high mindedness of principles, one that is ABOVE the ordinary, and one that will go far in leading and directing and assisting many such to better understanding of elemental principles.

7. One that loves rather that of reason. Not so much as argumentation as of reasonableness of the sincerity of purpose. This well to be cultivated, especially under many of the influences as we see in the present experience and where it will be necessary for the application of will to keep nobleness of self and purpose in accord with innate principles in self.

8. In those influences as respect will, as seen in the present experience:

One that will bring much to many in the way of amenableness in purpose, that has to do with large and small affairs; for largeness of purpose is seen in the little acts of individuals, that make up combinations in social, business, economic, political, national or international, life - and the entity is rather a good judge (innately) of human nature and its purports in small and large activities of the mental, social and political, life of individuals, groups or bodies.

In the likes and dislikes: There is seen that - through innate influence, by will influence, by position, and that held in self so builded - there are many varied and various positions in life’s affairs over which the entity may at times wield an uncanny influence. At other times the entity may build that which apparently is as a wall between; such as exists in even close relations, that seemingly - by natural conditions - should bring cooperation, coordination, and trust; yet these very conditions that bring same also divide same; for, as was given, “I come not to destroy but to fulfil. I come to set house against itself, and the house divided cannot stand!” Would one interpret those in the light of conditions as given in the experience in the innate or soul force of this entity, one may see a full interpretation of the meaning and correlation of those things given.

11. In the abilities, in the application of self in those things seen - these may be wielded to good or to bad. As is seen in the influence through the conditions as have been given, as WELL as that under the occult forces as come through those conditions that have been given by planetary conditions - or the experience in same (Uranian), these conditions especially have to do with the psychological conditions in the life, as has been seen in the last two to three, to five years, when Uranus has given and wielded such an influence in the earth’s plane, and especially among those under Uranus’ influence. These to this entity, as seen have brought many conditions of an extreme nature to the body, as to social, filial, and marital relations. As the body, entity, makes and builds and applies and meets these conditions, so may that influence (as may be wielded by self) be applied, to good or to bad, in the present experience.

12. In appearances, these - while few in number - have brought a great deal that is innately felt in the present experience.

13. In the one before this we find in that period when there was much study given by the peoples in the land now known as England, to the laws as applied to church and state, and to the INDIVIDUAL rule or right. The entity then in the household of Alfred the Great, and studied and directed and wielded much influence in the founding of the first of the rule by peerage, or equal rights among individuals. The entity brought much good to others through the influence wielded at this period, yet bringing condemnation to SELF through mis-appreciation of the application of those intents given. In the name Sophia Kerr. In the influence felt or seen in present experience, that especial feeling for relations of individuals, groups, and nations, and the law of England holds a special influence over the innate forces of the body, and a STUDY of same will always be well and satisfying to the body.

14. In the one before this we find in that land when the rule was changed in that now known as Persia. The entity then among those that were taken captive by the peoples overrunning the land, and carried to the southern country - and IN that country gave much that brought disturbance, division, and the general overthrow of the settled peoples; giving then both good and bad, and - as applied in self - developing little, for the entity then loved much and HATED much. In the name Iodel, and in the present the entity finds innately close friendships and close hatreds, and the ever presence of some inner vision of dread.

15. In the one before this we find in the land now known as Egypt. The entity then among those who builded with the peoples in the re-union of priest and king, in the establishing of that which became the crowning of the peoples to the understanding of application of law penal, personal, and spiritual. The entity among those that interpreted the ritual given to the peoples in the temples and the various places where these tenets were made applicable in the lives of natives and strangers. The entity GAINED through this experience in service to others, and to all alike. In the name Sisu, and in the present is seen the love of those things that pertain to the mysteries of Egypt and the East. Not so much of that as oriental, but more of that as the symbol of life or death, or building or destroying. THESE are as amulets to the entity’s development.

16. In the abilities - these, as seen, lie in the direction of bringing about settlements between individuals, groups, societies, nations, states and peoples, and in such should the entity find the greater development and the greater peace. Keep that same in self that was set, then, in Egypt - all for the development of the spiritual life. Ready for questions.

18. (Q) What can I do to aid my husband in his work, business and otherwise? (A) Well to counsel and guide, for the innate expressions of self are good.
