This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 1st day of April, 1930, in accordance with request made by those in charge.

Time of Reading Cayce Hospital, 4:05 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Virginia Beach, Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: We have the body here, [275]. This we have had before. Now, we find the general physical conditions are on the improve. There should be the specifics, that have been given, carried farther for the better reaction in the structural portions of the system. With the stoops [stupes], this - as we see - draws away from the covering of bone itself the refuse forces. The loosening of oxygen in the system throughout purifies the blood in the system, and the manipulations give the proper coordination for ELIMINATIONS IN the system, without causing distress in ANY ONE direction, or without causing disorders from the refuse being thrown in the system.

2. As to the diet, this is WELL - UNDER the existent conditions, but when the conditions are so cleansed that the normal structure is to be resumed there should be more of the calciums in the system for the structural body. While these at present release much in system, an altering will prove more beneficial.

3. Ready for questions.

4. (Q) Should Dr. Gerson’s vegetable juice diet be carried out? (A) As given, at present. When the conditions are altered, that the structure is to be added MORE - see? Then we would alter. This would be at least a ten day or two weeks WITH the manipulation. Would be well, too, that the Infra light be applied alternately in front and back and through the whole PELVIC region. Not for too long, but for sufficient period to penetrate but not to irritate, see?

5. (Q) How long at a time? (A) Twenty-eight inches from the body, after the heat - or after the filament is thoroughly red - then the exposure should be from twenty to thirty minutes, dividing the time between the front and the back, so it centralizes, see?

6. (Q) In what way will feeling manifest itself? (A) As nerves follow out their resuming channels of feeding to the body, the activity of the impulse. Feel most like something crawling on the inside. Not a very pleasant way to describe, but very pleasant to feel life is returning - or resuscitation, is.

7. (Q) What treatment would you advise for atrophy of muscles or thigh? (A) This, we will find, will be much in that of the stoops [stupes] of mullein and of the massage, for this brings the resuscitating forces. As has been given, when we loosen those portions that have had the infection, and these are absorbed through drainage, carried out of system, the natural impulse will be the resuscitation and rejuvenation of nerves, muscle and ligaments, and tissue.

8. (Q) Can patient be treated at home as efficiently as at the hospital? (A) Hardly. Would be best that at least two to three weeks, or more, be given under the proper environs.

9. (Q) Should she continue school when she returns home? (A) Let’s wait until we get to that!
