This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 19th day of May, 1930, in accordance with request made by those in charge.

[Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Dr. Lydic, Miss [275] and her sister-in-law, Mrs. [301].]

Time of Reading Cayce Hospital, 4:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Virginia Beach, Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here - this we have had before. In MANY respects the conditions are seen to be continually on the improve. All but a small portion of the bone’s structural covering has shown, and does show, that the ACTIVITY is coming to a nearer normal, and with the continuation - not so much exercise physically as to OVERTAX that portion, but keeping of those properties FOR the corrective measures, will continue to improve the conditions. Well were the stoops [stupes] used, TOO, that there may be created in exterior portions that as will STRIKE in, for the HEALING of the tissue that becomes involved in the structural portion, building up. Do not OVERTAX with the Infra Red, but use sufficient that there be the continued improvement of the structure in the bone itself. In the manipulation, keep that energy as is necessary in the lower plexus of the sacral, as coordinates with those of the hip and limb in the motion, that - WITH the normal circulation - drosses are removed. Not so deep as to cause irritation, but of SUFFICIENT that there may be activity by the BLOOD supply being increased to this region. Ready for questions.

2. (Q) Should the stoops [stupes] be changed from the way they are now given? (A) NOW they may be given from the GREEN, and this will prove more effective in the application of same.

3. (Q) How long should the Infra Red be given now? (A) From eighteen to twenty-two minutes, AFTER the heat has reached its maximum - see?

4. (Q) How often should osteopathic treatments be given? (A) Every third day would be sufficient, provided the manipulation is made DEEP sufficient, and is given the proper circulatory motion in this region. See? These are GIVEN well, but the circulatory motion, especially in this lumbar region and sacral region, that it acts with the muscular and nerve forces of the locomotaries - these should be given; not that it injures or overtaxes, but it will be seen in giving the treatments, see?

5. (Q) Are the heels of proper height? (A) These are very good.

6. (Q) Does the body get enough out of doors? (A) More will not hurt. Be more beneficial, for the more oxygen as is taken in system, as is released in system, the better it will be. With carbon ash this will be released more with the application of the ultra-violet, see - than with just that of the sun, or the Infra Red.

7. (Q) How long should the ultra-violet be given at a time? (A) That dependent upon the distance from the body, see? Should not be given for a long period, for this may be found to be HARMFUL - by producing too much exterior inflammation. Sun baths would be most excellent for the body.

8. That is all the questions regarding this body.
