-
GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2781]; this we have had before.
-
The present acute condition, as we find, has responded fair to the administrations made. But the accumulations are such that, unless drainages are set up, there is too much to be eliminated through natural channels.
-
We find it will be well to follow or to adhere to those administrations and decisions made by those in charge at the present time.
-
If there is the ability for the drainage from the rising in the head, without the operative measures, we find that unless there were extraordinary measures - there still might be too much scar tissue.
-
We would follow, then, those suggestions by the physician in charge.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Then you would advise that we allow the doctor to operate this morning? (A) If it is necessary or advisable. If he advises so, we would. We would follow the suggestions of the doctor.
-
We are through with this Reading.

Reports
Reports & Follow-up
R1. Report by mother when phoning the reading: “The rising has come to a head and she is just as fretful as she can be.” Mr. Cayce advised her to use a Glyco-Thymoline pack, warm, over ear, which might cause the rising to burst and drain; then have physician clean out the ear, etc.
R2. 7/1/43 Letter from mother: “[2781] is fine now, had another bad ear but the sulfathiazole nipped the infection. I’m not sure if I wrote to you after that and sent you a check, so I’m enclosing amount for that reading. If I did, apply same on Life Reading for her.
“Both ears were opened, as you advised.”
