This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 20th day of September, 1943, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. [2828], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 4:20 to 4:30 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Va.

1. GC: You will answer the questions regarding this body as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [2828].

3. As we find, there are some changes. These conditions at times seem much better, at others not so well.

4. Remember the sources, as we have indicated are the meeting of one’s own self; thus are karmic. These can be met most in Him who, taking away the law of cause and effect by fulfilling the law, establishes the law of grace. Thus the needs for the entity to lean upon the arm of Him who is the law, and the truth and the light.

5. For, while these may be sought to be explained through the defects in the body, read carefully - who healeth all thy diseases, who bringeth this or that to pass in thy experience? that, through thy experience ye may learn the more of the law of the Lord, that it is perfect. Thus ye apply those things of which ye thyself are a part.

6. As has been indicated for the entity, the Lights that would aid in checking - even in helping the disturbed area in the spine by the use of this high vibration. Electricity or vibration is that same energy, same power, ye call God. Not that God is an electric light or an electric machine, but that vibration that is creative is of that same energy as life itself.

7. Then, obtain and use the Light - if there would be help for the body. This may be still obtained in supply bases, either from the General Electric or other Electric companies who make such lamps. Or the sources of supply may be sought out through those that supply hospitals and such.

8. The green light that is to be projected between the Ultra Violet and the body may be obtained from the American Plate Glass Company in several associations and connections, but has been established in certain sections; obtain same and use it.

9. Do these, keeping the rest of those things suggested for the body, if we would get the better results.

11. (Q) What causes the extreme night suffering at times in hot weather? (A) This is the exhaustion of the body by the very nature of the disturbance, for, it is a structure condition and will eventually produce malformations unless there is at least stopped - by the use of those things indicated.

12. (Q) What specific regions of the spine should this be used over? (A) From at least the 7th and the 8th dorsal to the end of the spine.

13. (Q) Any corrections in present diet? What foods or elements would most help the reconstructive forces? (A) This is very good in the present.

14. (Q) Can this gradual deterioration be checked and reconstructive forces be set up in the spine itself? (A) If we will do these things as indicated.

15. (Q) As no specific explanation of cause and history of this condition in this body has been given in a previous Reading, would you please give us a knowledge of these that would help us arrive at an understanding of it? (A) It has just been given - this is SELF, see!

Dearest [2072]:-

Thanks a lot. I wish it had been possible for me to be able to see you when you were here the other evening, but it was the group meeting evening, and quite a number were here. These have been very good for the last few weeks.

Now, about the reading for Mr. [2828] we will try to get this about Monday morning, January 10, 10:30 to 11:30 EWT. I hope that isn’t too far off. Be sure to have him send us the questions and the address he will be at this morning.

We have been pretty busy, and as I told you, we have been short on rations for oil, for heat, and that has kept me from working at night, or being up as early in the morning, as I would like, trying to conserve on heat.

Thank you for letting Mr. [2828] know about this. I do hope the time will be satisfactory, and that we can be of a real help. Am sorry he is not doing so well.

1. Is the Sun Kraft Ultra-Violet Quartz Lamp adequate for use for the treatment needed for this body?
2. Has it been used correctly as to distance from body and length of time applied? Any corrections for these or for green glass?
3. Please explain the purpose, or power, of the green glass used here.
4. Has there been any measure of success in stopping the deterioration in the spine by the recent use of the Sun Kraft Lamp?
5. Should I continue Calcios?
6. Vitamins?
7. What physical measures should be used or applied to the body when one of the attacks come on?
8. Has the recent attack been brought on by flu or the condition prevalent in the body?
9. Are there any precautions that can be taken to prevent these attacks? Anything that might warn of their approach? Are they cyclic to any extent?
10. Would you please explain what the karmic causes are that have brought about this condition. I should like to know and be helped to understand it.
11. What is the correction or adjustment I must make in order to overcome these karmic influences?
