-
GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
-
Yes, we have the body here, [2868].
-
As we find, in the present there are some acute conditions.
-
The basis of the disturbance, though, as we find, extends to some times back, and deals primarily with the nervous system; while the acute conditions apparently have more to do with the disturbance in the alimentary canal.
-
These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [2868], we are speaking of:
-
The blood supply indicates the deflection of impulses and energies through the body. We find that this arises from a subluxation that exists in the 5th and 6th dorsal, and in the lumbar or sacral axis.
-
These have caused, then, a gradual quickening of the pulsation, a filling of the heart at times, without the impulse of the full distribution from the heart itself. While the superficial circulation has at times been good, the basic disturbances have been caused - or have produced the general depression felt, and a type of headache, a fullness in the chest, and a disturbance in the areas through the colon.
-
The administrations that have been made have gradually come to react on the system. And there is the attempt of the lymph flow to eradicate the plethoric condition caused by the slowing of the deep circulation that has existed in the colon.
-
Hence in the present there is a condition in the alimentary canal. This will be relieved temporarily, but it will not remove the cause; and such suppression is gradually filling the circulation between heart and liver.
-
It is not an organic heart trouble but a functional one, produced by those impingements filling those portions, or slowing the alimentary canal’s circulation and thus filling that deep circulation between heart, liver, lungs and kidneys.
-
This tends to produce excess acidity, which also becomes a contributory cause to the general disturbance.
-
These effects will continue, unless there is the removal of the causes, to bring other disorders and a complication of disorders through the body.
-
As we find, in making administrations in the present, - first we would put together about a level teaspoonful of Rochelle Salts and Cream of Tartar, dissolve in a full glass of water - or leave sufficient room to add twenty drops of Spirits of Camphor. This taken internally will tend to flush the system, but will heal.
-
On the morrow, take at least a teaspoonful of Milk of Bismuth and six drops of Elixir of Lactated Pepsin stirred in a full glass of water, drinking another glass full afterward.
-
In the afternoon have a full, complete colonic irrigation, scientifically given. There should not be used such large quantities of water, but have this near to body temperature, - not too hot, and not too cold. To each gallon of water put at least a level teaspoonful of salt and a level teaspoonful of baking soda. This will prevent strain on the body strength.
-
But do not attempt to work or to labor after this has been given. Rest for at least five to six or eight hours, see?
-
After the system has been thus cleansed or purified, - begin and have - osteopathically administered the - adjustments that will correct those subluxations existent in the 5th and 6th dorsal, and in the lumbar axis; coordinating the upper dorsal and cervical areas with same.
-
Do not overtax the body.
-
If it becomes necessary, to maintain better coordination in eliminations, repeat the suggestions given for purifying the system.
-
And, after at least fifteen to twenty-five days, have another colonic irrigation.
-
If we will do these, we should bring better conditions for this body.
-
During the periods of purification, have more the liquids than heavy foods; liquid and semi-liquid foods, - not heavy foods such as ham. No meats that are heavy, such as these would be too disturbing to the body. Be mindful that not too much greases of any kind are taken at any time, see?
-
When we purify the system, remove the acidity, and the blood becomes gradually purified, we will find that those coordinations will be produced in the system so as to eliminate susceptibility to colds, and save the body a lot of trouble later.
-
Do as we have outlined for better conditions of this body.
-
Ready for questions.
-
We are through for the present.

B1. Questions submitted:
- Please give condition of whole body in a manner that will help the body physically, mentally and spiritually.
- What can be done to relieve the present bowel condition?
- What is cause and relief for the heart attacks?
- What can be done to eliminate colds?
B2. 12/16/42 Phone remarks by Miss [307], cousin: [2868] intended to come, but last night and this morning he has developed a bowel condition so that he can’t get very far from a toilet. He didn’t have any questions except the ones I gathered from his conversation. He’s the one who suggested the Rdg. for the little [251] boy years ago, that had the spasms. Recently, [2868] has spent over a thousand dollars in the hospital with nurses, and under oxygen tents, for a heart condition. [533] who works with him, said “If you want to diet, alright; don’t get a Rdg.” He left my house with the book, ‘There Is A River,’ the other day when he walked in to ask about getting a Rdg.
B3. 12/16/42 Request by mother [326]: “Mail Rdg. to … Co., but if anything urgent phone [307] and reverse charges. He’s in bad fix, and if had gotten rdg. long time ago wouldn’t be so bad off. I’m feeling fair - have my good days and bad days, am trying to keep in shape by following my readings.”
