1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [287]; this we have had before.

2. As we find, there are those disturbing forces that arise from the tendency of a strangulation through the activity of the gall duct and its action to the general system.

3. While those pressures that produce those sudden contractions, and the activity in the heart’s area, the inability for the normal physical activity, are being aided somewhat, it would be well for there to be more treatments in the manipulations that would dilate the flow of the bile from the duct and to make for a more normal activity there.

4. These, with the general applications as of the olive oil and the Saffron, will aid the more permanently in bringing permanent relief.

5. This may be done either by the emptying of the duct direct or of increasing the stimuli to those centers in the cerebro- spinal system from which this area receives its impulse.

6. This we would do, for quicker relief, for the greater relief; keeping up the general treatments and the others that have been given, being mindful of the diet that there is not created poisons nor too much acids in the system.

R1. 3/20/33 He wrote: “Rec’d you rdg. 3/4th. Many thanks.

“Down town this morning. If it were not for your rdg. giving me courage I would have given up last Monday, and once before. Since my last letter to you I almost choked to death. I think my wife thought I was gone, but I came back again, and I WILL GET WELL by just keeping up your treatment.

“Feel pretty good this a.m. and can walk, but can’t hurry - however, much better, and am gaining weight - 152 now - was down to 127. Just feel fine when don’t have those choking spells.”

R2. 4/5/33 “Much better, but still hurts me to walk fast or when I try to do anything. I have noticed that when the weather is warm - 65-70 - I can walk much better and am better, but when it is cold - say 30-60 - I can’t walk. If you could, wish you would try next Sat. and ask whether the warm weather has anything to do with my condition. I do seem to be much better when it is warm.

“Ask about my blood pressure. One doctor said it was high - 190, some time ago, however.”

R3. 4/17/33 See 287-13 saying the condition is still the result of scar tissue in the mucous membranes [from lead poisoning burns yrs. ago], and not an organic heart disturbance.
