GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.
-
EC: Yes.
-
Now, we find there are those specific conditions as cause distress in the physical forces of this body. These are of that nature that may become serious, with the changes as may be produced by irritation direct; yet we find these conditions may be relieved, were those things carried out that would bring better coordination throughout the eliminating system. While the conditions to be relieved are at times of the specific nature, yet we find that these may be overcome, with proper dilation, proper massage, proper stimulation to the body.
-
These, then, are conditions as we find them in this body:
-
IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this very good at most times, yet when there is that contraction that causes a prolapsus in the intestine, about the third, fourth, fold - especially that above - on the right side - above the large intestine, this irritation as brings this condition about causes then changes in the blood supply, and there is the reaction through this attempt to adjust itself in the liver, the kidneys, and the whole mesenteric system.
-
IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, in this is, as WE find, the seat or the cause of the troubles. In the relaxing of the system - through those conditions existent in the lower portion of the lumbar system - the nerves of mesenteric system are allowed - under strain - to overlap, or to envelop one another. When there is such conditions, the greater trouble arises. When the whole of the functioning system, only under the stress or the conditions becoming acute as the functional system shows distress. Then, as given, ALL of the eliminating system becomes involved.
-
Then, to meet the needs of these conditions, we would prepare this as the medicinal properties for the internal system:
-
To one-half (1/2) gallon of distilled water, we would add:
Garden Sage…6 ounces, Ambrosia Weed, or Ragweed…2 ounces, Calisaya Bark…1 ounce.
Reduce this by simmering (not boiling) to one-half (1/2) the quantity. Strain while warm and add three (3) ounces of grain alcohol, with two (2) drams of Balsam of Tolu cut in it.
-
The dose would be half teaspoonful three (3) times each day.
-
As soon as the medicinal properties are begun, begin with the massage neuropathically, or the gentle osteopathic, or the Swede’s masseur, and massage the system thoroughly, especially along the lower portion of the dorsal and the lumbar region, seeing that medicinal properties taken are assimilated, drinking PLENTY of water; abstaining from meats ALMOST entirely. NEVER any hog meat. The body needs that as will set up eliminations.
-
Baths from electrical forces would be well, that will bring the perspiration to the body, especially throughout the torso of the system. Hence electric light baths would be WELL. Take these for at least twenty to thirty (20 to 30) treatments of same. They may be taken every third (3rd) day, but keep the eliminations, and we will rid the system of this condition, by producing better assimilation and better elimination, and correcting the laxness and loosening the tautness in the subluxations along the cerebrospinal system.
-
Do that.
-
(Q) How often should the massage be given? (A) Every other day.
-
We are through for the present.
