GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2876].
-
As we find, there are disturbing conditions that prevent the better physical functionings. There is an incoordination in the eliminating systems of the body. Part of this is a prenatal tendency, and then an upsetting condition in milk casein (that is, with the foods), combined with some elements in the water that has been taken - or with which foods have been prepared.
-
These cause an upsetting in the eliminations and the distribution in assimilation; giving expression in the humor or the rash that is indicated on portions of the body.
-
For same we would make these applications:
-
First, we would change the kind of milk that is used in the feeding to that of Carnation milk. This may be supplied or used as will be indicated from the physician, or from the manufacturers of this product itself.
-
Then the water that is taken, - boil all of this and keep separated. Into each half gallon put a level teaspoonful of corn meal (preferably the yellow meal), and boil - letting it come to a good, stiff boil. Set off, settle, and then strain through a cloth and keep this as the only water this baby or child is to be given, see?
-
Locally, to allay the rash, we would apply Zemo, - a compound prepared by Rose and Company. First, though, the areas should be bathed off with a mild antiseptic. When bathing the body, put at least a teaspoonful of Glyco-Thymoline in the warm water that is used, - using this as the antiseptic, you see. And then apply the Zemo, when the areas have been THOROUGHLY dried. Do not apply this with any water or moisture on the body.
-
Do give the body Yellow Saffron Tea. This is the regular American Saffron. Put a pinch between three fingers into a crock and pour a pint of boiling water over same. Let this steep as tea. Give at least a teaspoonful of this two to three times each day. Make fresh every day.
-
Do these and we will find these conditions will clear.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Other than the milk, what foods should be given? (A) The cereals, of course, are the principal ones - that are given for the age, you see. Of course, fruit juices - but do not give orange juice without putting a little lemon in same. These are the preferable foods for the body.
-
We are through for the present.

Reports & Follow-up
R1. 7/1/52 Miss [1747]‘s report:
“I was not on hand to help carry out the instructions on this reading, but the mother did make every effort to follow the reading just as outlined. It took quite some time to completely clear the condition, and whenever there was a flare-up, the mother would repeat the treatment outlined in the reading. The child was in terrible misery, having a rash all over her body that itched so that it was necessary to keep her feet and hands wrapped so that she couldn’t scratch herself. The rash had some ‘googy’ drainage and scabs formed. She could not stand wool next to her body because it made the itching worse. Though it took quite a while - the condition was completely cleared. There has not been a return of the rash for several years. Even yet, the mother is careful that the proper diet is kept for the child. When this reading was first obtained, the mother would call me from time to time, to consult with me about how to make the teas, etc. and general for help in carrying out the reading.”
