-
GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here, [288]; this we have had before.
-
As we find, there are acute disturbances from both pathological and psychological conditions. These are affecting the tonsils in the present. Best to have these removed; this by the osteopathic manner, rather than just operative forces.
-
These we would do.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Should any specific preparation be made? (A) This should be done by one making such corrections.
-
(Q) Is it possible to avoid the operation? or the removal? (A) It’s possible not to have it done, and to go along - of course - applying cold and heat, and REDUCE the conditions; but under the conditions WE would advise that this be done in the manner indicated.
-
(Q) Any other advice for the body at this time? (A) Of course, it will be necessary that there be precautions, but not that anxiety as has been a part of the body activity.
-
We are through for the present.

Reports & Follow-up
R1. 7/21/41 She reported: “For two months I had osteopathic treatments from Dr. M. L. Richardson in preparation for surgery; then he referred me to my medical doctor for the actual removal. Dr. Waller L. Taylor, M. D., removed my tonsils on 7/11/41 at 3:15 P.M, in his office, under local anesthetic. I’m just now beginning to feel normal again - have had a pretty bad time with my sore throat, inability to eat, etc., but am now ‘looking up’ again.”
R2. 10/15/41 She obtained 288-51 Ck. Physical saying the surgery had been well performed and no bad after effects; questions were answered in re general condition.
