EC: Yes, we have the body and those conditions surrounding same here, [2884]; this we have had before.
-
Now, as we find, while the conditions that exist are such that might bring some uneasiness, yet they are such as should not be alarming; for while there is apparently same return of old disorders, yet - will there be the proper precautions taken - these may be, as we find, ELIMINATED from the system.
-
The conditions of the system where blood supply is incapacitated, or the anemia that has existed, is apparent; yet there are changes in the assimilating system that are beneficial.
-
These conditions, as we find, exist:
-
There has for so long a time remained that condition wherein the muco-membranes of the digestive system, and of the intestinal tract even proper - or the walls, are thinned by this impoverishment. Hence a tendency for the lymph and the muco-membranes to pick up, through these small orifices - and through the improper eliminations of the poisons, and create in the lymph and emunctory circulation those as of the rash, or abrasions, as occur on portions of the system; the body attempting to eliminate poisons, yet when the body is impoverished, so that these would not occur, the whole general system suffers under same, and - as the condition is seen - the system has just been a little too much overloaded, so that the digestive and assimilating juices, or assimilating system, are not able to take care of the conditions in a NORMAL way and manner.
-
It would be well, then, to cut down on NOT the quality, but on the QUANTITY of the diets for the body; for these, as we find, WILL assimilate - will there be given the proper incentives with the digestive system, see?
-
We would prepare, then, as this: Following each meal we would take 3 to 8 drops of lactated pepsin, in water. We would each evening take a small quantity of Milk of Magnesia, Milk of Bismuth - alternate them; not more than a teaspoonful should be the dose, unless there is a tendency for constipation to come - see? then this may be increased. We would also prepare to be taken of mornings, that of Yellow Saffron tea. This should be steeped, not too strong, but about a teaspoonful to the pint of water and allowed to brew or steep as tea - see? This may be kept or set aside, strained and set aside in a cool place, and should last for 2 to 3 days, taking a tablespoonful of same in a glass, or half a glass, of water - of mornings, see? after the cereal or fruit has been taken.
-
We also will find that occasionally camomile tea, made in the same way and manner - this used instead of the Saffron, will enable the system - with these being kept in the line as has been outlined - to create more of a muco-membrane in the stomach and intestinal system, see? and keep up those rubs as given for the limbs, and we will find changes coming about, betterments for the body.
-
These conditions of rash will come and go until the system has adjusted itself. Do not become over alarmed, unless these become in the form of patches, that would become very red, or breaking of skin. Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Any local application that should be applied? (A) Preferably not to apply too much local applications, unless these are DUSTED with those of starch with that of the zinc in same, as is for a rash or the like - see?
-
We are through for the present.

R1. 12/7/31 Mother [5423]‘s letter to EC:
My dear Mr. Cayce,
Do pardon my not writing sooner, but I have been so nervous I could hardly hold a pen in my hand.
[2884] was doing very nicely under your instructions, then she caught cold and spoiled everything. I shall continue along those lines as soon as she gets better. You did not mention if I were to continue with the ash in addition to the other things you suggested, will you let me know please?
I spoke to her doctor and suggested a blood transfusion told him I thought it would give her body strength to fight off things, and how well she did after the last two she had, at first I thought he would throw me out of his office, but I simply told him she was my child and I had the right to suggest any thing to any body that I felt might help her condition, well before I left him I think I convinced him to my way of thinking, of course I did not mention I had consulted you but thought it wise to keep that from him, don’t you?
Mr. Cayce I do feel that would help her so much, just having a little cold that some other child would have never stayed in the house with at all makes such a change in her she looks as though she has been sick for a month, if she had plenty of good blood that could not happen.
Well if I keep on I could write to you for ever it makes me feel closer, happier just as though I have some thing so strong to support me and, well we all need something that might help carry our burden much lighter. “and I look up to the hills, from whence cometh my help”
“And I look to you, from whence cometh MY help”
God Bless you, and your family,
Mrs. [5423]
