This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 5th day of January, 1926, in accordance with request made by self - Edgar Cayce.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]

Time of Reading 11:10 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Va.

  1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of EC, of …, and the dream this body had on the date which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from same, as I read same to you.

  2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, EC.

  3. Ready for dream.

  4. (Q) Morning of 1/5/26. “Dream regarding a big party. Mr. [4219] was leading the procession to the party. After getting there, I was at the head of the table. Mrs. [K.E.T.] came up and introduced herself to me and asked where Mrs. Cayce was. I went to look for Gertrude and found she had gotten mad because they wouldn’t let the children come to the table first, and she had left the table. After the dinner was a big dance and [4219] wanted to start the dance with Gertrude but I couldn’t find her. I was walking through the place looking for her when I woke up.” (A) This, as we see, presents those sinister conditions that are to arise in the lives of the two individuals seen who come to the party and seek those acquaintances, and that there will be the appeal for assistance and aid; yet not wholly desired to be given, on account of some condition in which they are asked or presented, by the body Gertrude, see?

  5. We are through for the present.

[GD’s note: Mr. [4219] was a real estate man who had helped EC financially and through contacts for readings, during the period in Dayton without sponsorship of Lammers, etc. He and his wife had been greatly helped through the physical readings - it was through [4219] that in later years the young lady arthritic came to get a reading and became healed.

Mrs. [K.E.T.] was the wife of - well, she was a Mrs. Kettering - of the famous Ketterings of Dayton - not known to EC personally, but probably representing tops in social prominence and recognition, etc. Her son was in school with HL and a friend of HL’s.]
