-
GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them.
-
EC: Yes.
-
As we find, conditions have reached such a state, and the weaknesses of the body are such, that only that which may be of an easing nature to the body may be administered at this time:
-
There is lack of the ability for the storing of vital energies necessary for the body to control the involuntary forces or movements; especially through the locomotory centers. Thus the inability for controlling hands, arms, or the control centers of the limbs; and even at times the hypogastric nerves that control the lower portion of the abdominal area AND the proper eliminations in the system.
-
The organs also have become involved, but these are more in a functional manner than otherwise; though without administrations of some form of sedatives, the distress becomes almost unbearable - but the life energies and forces continue to move onward.
-
We would have prepared the Wet Cell Appliance carrying Gold, Atomidine, Camphor and Witchhazel. A special container or holder should be prepared for each of these solutions. The Appliance itself should be charged rather heavily; that is, in the preparation of same, strengthen by at least half a pound of the Copper Sulfate.
-
The larger nickel plate, through which the chemical passes vibratorially, would ALWAYS be attached at the umbilical and lacteal duct center; one day the Gold - in the proportions of fifteen grains of Chloride of Gold in ten ounces of distilled water; the next day Atomidine - half the commercial strength Atomidine and half of distilled water; the next day, Camphor - commercial strength Spirits of Camphor; the next day, Witchhazel - commercial strength. Have a separate container for each of these.
-
The small copper plate, when using the Gold, would be attached to the lumbar axis; when using the Atomidine, to the 9th dorsal; when using the Camphor, to the 2nd dorsal; when using the Witchhazel, to the base of the brain.
-
These attachments would come in this order. Attach the Appliance for thirty minutes each day, but rotate the chemicals in the order named.
-
Each of the chemical solutions may be used fifteen times, provided the solution is not deteriorated by the connection being left in same when not applied to the body. When the Appliance has been used thirty days, however, and it is necessary to renew the charge, we would change ALL the solutions and commence over again.
-
Following the use of the Appliance each day, massage all the areas along the spine with Glyco-Thymoline; using a gentle, circular motion, for some ten to fifteen minutes.
-
In the diet, we would keep near to that which has been given, save - as oft as possible for it to be prepared fresh - give pure Beef Juice as a tonic or stimuli; only small quantities taken, and about a teaspoonful at a time, but take several minutes to absorb or take a teaspoonful.
-
Give the hyoscine as the retarder for the agitans.
-
These, as we find, offer the bettering of the conditions; not a cure, but making the body easier and more able to control. These, we find, offer the better aid for the body.
-
Ready for questions.
-
Do that.
-
We are through for the present.

R1. 5/27/43 EC’s letter to [3016]‘s daughter:
“Hope you are not too badly discouraged with the information for your Mother. There is little or nothing one cay say, only trust in God and do the right. That she suffers so, is the thing that eats the heart out of each of us, am sure.
“Trust the suggestion will ease her a bit at least.
“Do let me hear from you, and May HIS PEACE keep you…”

B1. 4/9/43 Daughter’s letter to EC:
“A cousin, who is greatly impressed by it, sent your recent biography to me, and I am extremely anxious for you to give my mother a reading.
“She is sixty-five years old, and for the past six years has been ill with Parkinson’s Disease, a terrible nerve trouble affecting the spine. It is a type of creeping paralysis and she is now almost completely helpless. Of all the medicine she has tried, we’ve found that she must take at least two hyoscine bromides a day to keep down the tremor which is one of the worst features of the disease. Had she continually remained on the hyoscine treatment, I believe her trouble would have been checked in its early stages, as it seemed to be about the same for the first year and a half. But a new medicine was tried, which over-relaxed her and increased her general nervousness.
“Her blood pressure varies, but two weeks ago, when last taken, it was 170, about twenty points too high.
“She complains of feeling badly at all times; her breathing bothers her; she either has shortness of breath or draws very long breaths. Her voice is affected some. And she throbs and aches a great deal in her lower limbs. She is often flushed in spots on her throat, chest and even abdomen.
“The doctors say the disease is sometimes checked, but is incurable. Her muscles are tense and she can hardly keep the left foot on the floor when seated. She is rarely able to take a step without help, though sometimes during the night when she has to get up, she can walk alone and rapidly, for a few steps. The rigidity is still accompanied by tremor at times; it may be only a finger trembling, or, when trying to feed herself, her hand and arm.
“The trouble began in her left hand and arm, but she can now hardly raise her right hand to her mouth.
“I believe you can help her. Surely God will give you the power you need to check the progress of this horrible disease.
“Thanking you for the earliest attention you can give to what is the most important problem in the world to me…”
“P.S. After each of two massage treatments given over the entire affected area, she seemed to be too limber, and to lose muscular control. So I discontinued such thorough treatments, giving only light massage of her limbs.”
B2. 5/5/43 Daughter’s letter: “My aunt, uncle and myself - and my mother, if she might be told, eagerly await the visit of your spirit on this eventful day. Whatever may be the outcome, I appreciate your real anxiety to help…”
