This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 1st day of April, 1938, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [303], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]

Time of Reading 3:30 to 3:40 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Va. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body; this we have had before.

  2. As we find, the general conditions are much in that as has been indicated heretofore.

  3. Anxieties, conditions that arise from strains on the system continue to produce recurrent disturbances in the nervous system and a general drain on the body.

  4. As we find, the precautions that have been indicated should be kept.

  5. The strengthenings for the body in the manners that have been given would be well.

  6. Ready for questions.

  7. (Q) What is the cause of the inflammation in the knot under my right leg? (A) The general strain on the system.

As we find, if there would be the operative forces used in the present, and precautions taken as to sufficient rest, sufficient of the stimuli for the general body, these would be preferable - before they become too GREATLY inflamed.

Use - or in the operative forces it should be considered as tumor of the nature that must not be DRAINED of itself, but taken off, see? the skin about same taken away; that is, pulled back, and then the tumor from its source taken off.

  1. (Q) Is my blood in such a condition that I would not have any ill effects from an operation? (A) This, of course, would depend upon the manner of handling same. It would necessitate hospitalization, of course, if it would be cared for properly; for at least a few days, and sufficient time off of the feet to rest sufficient. But these would be the better measures.

  2. (Q) Would Dr. H. W. Rogers, Lafayette Blvd., Norfolk, Va., be the one to get to operate? (A) If there is the proper understanding, and if there are the proper precautions taken - should be very satisfactory.

  3. (Q) Or is there one whom you would suggest as being better to do the operating? (A) This depends upon the attitude of the individual herself, see?

He is efficient, as we find.

  1. (Q) Can the knots be removed with good results other than by surgery? (A) In their present condition, as we find, surgery is the better.

  2. (Q) Any other advice for the body at this time? (A) Only that there be the attitude of the CONSTRUCTIVE forces throughout those conditions which, of course, become concurrent with such an activity for the body.

  3. We are through with this reading.
