This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 14th day of September, 1942, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [303], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 3:50 to 4:00 P. M. Eastern War Time. …, Va.

1. HLC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with further suggestions for corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.

3. As has been indicated, the weakness through the body is indicated by the overtaxing of self - and not just as consistent as it should be with keeping the better activities in the eliminations.

4. There should have been more precautions taken with having the water body-temperature, and of there being those proper stimulations in the waters used as colonics - and we would not have had this kind of collapse following same.

5. In the present, while the body rests, we would have the Grape Poultice applied over the upper and lower abdomen. Just crush the grapes on gauze, or old cloth, sufficient in size to cover the upper and lower abdomen; covering same so as to keep absorption, with the heat from the body, to give strength. Use the Concord grapes, preferably; though if these are not available, use the larger variety (dark grapes, preferably).

6. Crush the same character of grapes and drink the fresh grape juice. This will give the body strength.

7. Follow these with the oil rubs, - the combination of Peanut Oil, Olive Oil and Lanolin.

8. These given about two or three hours apart should soon bring the strength back to the body.

9. Do that.

10. Ready for questions.

11. (Q) Should another colonic be taken after this period of treatment? If so, what should be used in the waters? (A) This should be taken to cause better eliminations. Have water body temperature, not hotter, not colder; and, as has been indicated, for each half gallon of water used - at first - put a level teaspoonful of table salt and half a teaspoonful of baking soda. In the last water put, to each gallon, a tablespoonful of Glyco-Thymoline - this the rinsing water. These will prevent the collapse to the body.

12. (Q) What else may be given in the diet, besides the grape juice? (A) Any that is strengthening. This has been outlined oft for the body, and the body can judge this better than anyone else, - depending upon the reactions and feelings of the body, see?

13. (Q) Is the lack of elimination the source entirely of severe headache? (A) It is at the present. This may be aided, - not by sedatives, for these tend to clog the system, but - by the rubs along the neck and head, and down to the 9th dorsal, see? just a gentle massage; not an osteopathic treatment, but a gentle massage. The electrically driven vibrator would be well also.
