This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 18th day of May, 1935, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [303], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. L. B. Cayce and Boyd Davis.]

Time of Reading 11:10 to 11:20 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Va. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [303].

  2. As we find, there are acute conditions that have arisen in the general physical forces of the body; and specific conditions that arise which become involved in the condition.

  3. We would continue to use of those applications for the spine or back, and take care of the discharge sufficiently that there be no reinfection.

  4. As for those conditions in the arm, where there has been a muscular strain - with cold, congestion, making for some inflammation of the COVERING of the bone itself, we do not find any fracture or seepage. But from cold and congestion this has brought about the acute condition. For this we would apply the salt and apple vinegar. Dampen the salt with pure apple vinegar until it will almost adhere. Massage the arm with same very briskly. Then bind the arm, or from the shoulder to the forearm, with a poultice made in the same manner. Make the poultice at least half an inch thick with the salt, or a little less, saturated with the pure apple vinegar.

  5. Also take a cathartic to clear the system of the poisons from the cold and congestion. Taking the Citrate of Magnesia would be the better for a quick activity, you see.

  6. THEN take afterwards the broken doses of Castoria; in small doses, half a teaspoonful every half hour until there is the thorough reaction from the Castoria - which may be noted by the activity of the alimentary canal or from the stool.

  7. Do this and, as we find, it will make for the clearing of the general system of the cold and of poisons, and aid the the general condition.

  8. Ready for questions.

  9. (Q) Is the treatment for the place on back having desired effect? (A) Just as given. Do that.

  10. (Q) Any further suggestions for the body? (A) Do that given.

  11. We are through with this reading.
