This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Cresent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 16th day of January, 1937, in accordance with request made by the daughter - Miss [243], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.
[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]
Time of Reading 3:30 to 3:40 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Tenn. (Physical Suggestion)
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here, [304].
-
As we find, while conditions in many respects continues to be rather serious, there are improvements in many ways.
-
While the circulation hasn’t as yet removed much of those poisons from the system, the keeping of the eliminations by the use of the enemas - if these are given without irritation to the disturbing forces in the lower portion of the alimentary canal - will be most helpful.
-
As we find also the Radio-Active Applicance would be most helpful in assisting in the equalizing of the circulation, for giving rest to the body. And this we find much more advisable than narcotics; that would stop more the circulatory forces.
-
As a sedative (which may be given occasionally) we would use the Silosan Compound tablets; one or two tablets during a day. These will open the secretions for some perspiration, which will necessitate being careful about drafts upon the body; but keeping the body somewhat moist will aid in the eliminations. This will necessitate using in the sponge bath at times a little soda or sal-soda to wipe away the acids as accumulations.
-
For the eliminations we would use, when necessary, the Zilatone tablets - one or two tablets a day.
-
In the application of the Radio-Active Appliance, twice or three times a day for twenty to thirty minutes will be preferable to long periods - unless when the body falls asleep in the use of same, do not arouse then for over an hour or an hour and a half - but do not let it remain longer, in the conditions, for then it would become heavy.
-
Keep up the rubs as indicated, as well as occasionally the Epsom Salts to produce a distribution of those tendencies for clogging circulation.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) The swelling seems to be spreading. (A) This is rather the attempt of the eliminations, or the necessity of eliminations to be increased. Hence those things given internally as well as externally.
-
We are through with this reading.
