This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 29th day of April, 1935, in accordance with request made by the self - Miss [307], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. L. B. Cayce.]

Time of Reading 11:25 to 11:35 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Va. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.

  2. Now, as we find, conditions revert a great deal to the disturbances as we have had before; a poor assimilation, making for disturbances throughout the digestive system, producing the activity that causes a lack of strength, vitality - and many of the organs become involved in their functioning.

  3. And there should be those precautions taken, else we will find this weakness, this lack of resistance, will GROW - and become destructive forces in the physical body.

  4. These, then, as we find, we would apply in the present:

  5. First, we would not overtax the system by too great a physical strain; especially in pulling, hauling, lifting, or activities that require a great deal of activity. No sweeping (unless with sweeper; not with broom); no lifting or pulling about. These make for strains upon the body.

  6. Then we would have at least three to six to ten general gentle manipulations, osteopathically given, over the whole of the cerebro-spinal system; making ESPECIAL attention to those segmentations in the upper dorsal area, throughout the cervicals, and once or twice during such periods make an adjustment in the lower LUMBAR area.

  7. It would be well in the matter of the diet that this be nearer to what has been indicated. Beware of greases; that is, fried foods or white breads.

  8. And after each meal, or after the noon and evening meals, take a quarter teaspoonful of AL-CAROID in a glass or a glass and a half of water. Do this for periods of two to three days, then have a rest period of leaving it off for a day or two; then do it again for two or three days. Continue this throughout the period that the osteopathic treatments are being taken, for three to four weeks, you see.

  9. We would also have the stimuli that has been indicated for the body, and those things that are body-building; as the beef juices.

  10. And the Ventriculin taken occasionally - that is, two or three times a week - would be well for the body.

  11. Ready for questions.

  12. We are through for the present.
