This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 20th day of March, 1944, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [3160], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 11:10 to 11:15 A. M. Eastern War Time. …, New York.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time with suggestions for further corrective measures, answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.

3. There has been an improvement, then indiscretions on the part of the body, with too much fats and an overloading of the stomach, have caused the upset with the disturbances indicated in the deeper circulation - or between the heart, lungs, liver and kidneys.

4. The distress here to one organ brings a greater hardship upon the other. The overburdening of the circulation has caused distresses with the heart’s activity.

5. We would use the Castor Oil Packs over the liver area, at least an hour each day for five days in succession. Then take internally a large dose of Olive Oil.

6. This should relax, purify and cleanse the condition.

7. It would be well, even following the oils that there be taken gently but specifically a colonic irrigation - which should relieve the distress and pressures even upon the heart’s activity, reducing the pressure and causing better conditions throughout the body.

8. These we would take for at least three to four periods, but about twenty-eight days apart - the Castor Oil Packs, the Olive Oil internally and the colonic irrigation. Have at least three to four series of these.

9. Be mindful as to the diet and not overtax the body through the things hard to digest, or any quantities of oils or fats.

10. Reduce the quantity of salt used in seasoning the foods, using only the kelp salt or deep sea salt, or health salt (all of these are practically the same).

11. Do these and we should keep better conditions for the body.

12. Ready for questions.

13. (Q) Is the heart in as serious condition as have recently been told? (A) Any heart condition is serious, yet the heart will stand more abuse than any other organ in the body - which is indicated here, as well as in most others. But given a fair opportunity it will adjust itself, unless there are such distresses as to produce a valvular or a thrombose activity. Neither occurs here. Pressure, pulsation, and gas has caused the greater distress with the heart here.

Dear Mr. Cayce:-

The check Reading received March 25th. Thank you very much for the check Reading.

The treatments are so simple. I guess I am not so bad, as I sometimes think. - The only thing that bothers me now is how I am going to get a quantity of Castor Oil. - I will try my best to get it.

And I will certainly do as the reading says…
