GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes - she prayeth.
-
We have the body, [3171].
-
Now as we find, there are definite disturbances with this body. From many of the effects produced, one would term the reactions more pathological than psychological; yet the greater effects in the body come from the psychological - producing pathological results in the body.
-
From the natural or nature’s reaction, from attitudes held in the physical body, it has been deteriorating from the normal effects that are established between the sympathetic and the cerebrospinal nervous system.
-
Hence gradually there have been builded those complexes of fear, so that the impulses received through the sympathetic and the sensory forces become at times repellent to the body; producing at periods conditions almost bordering on hysteria. These find reflexes in the nerve forces that disturb the nerves of the sympathetic and sensory forces.
-
These bring, then those types of pressures is head, through the circulation, that naturally result in a general depleted system; so that the reactions to the locomotaries are distorted or disturbed.
-
As might be commonly termed then the nerve systems being recharged cause short circuits in certain areas where there is the greater disturbances between the reflexes of the sympathetic and cerebrospinal in their coordination.
-
We find that these conditions may best be met with certain types of hydrotherapy treatments, as combined with the low electrical forces of the body as well as the vibrations for the body.
-
These, then, would be the better manners of making corrections for this body:
-
The hydrotherapy treatments should include the light sweats, more with the fume bath than with the dry heat. The fumes should carry witchhazel to react upon the body. This would be followed with the needle shower, or the hot and cold shower, with the thorough rub down. Give particular emphasis, with the rubs, at the lumbar axis, 9th dorsal plexus, and from the 3rd and 4th dorsal to the 1st cervical.
-
These treatments should be taken about once a week.
-
Also we would use daily the reactions from the Radio-Active Appliance. Attach this preferably in the evening as the body rests, or just before retiring, for one hour. These vibrations of the body-forces themselves are to coordinate and discharge in the area where the less coordination is accomplished or carried on in the present. Let this period be used for the meditation. And let the prayer be on this order, though in the entity’s own words:
FATHER, GOD! IN THY LOVE, IN THY MERCY, I SEEK TO BE USED AS AN INSTRUMENT OF THY LOVE; THAT I MAY, IN SINCERITY OF PURPOSE USE THE OPPORTUNITIES GIVEN ME AS A CHANNEL OF BLESSINGS TO OTHERS - THAT THEY, TOO, MAY KNOW THEE IN THAT MANNER WHICH MAY BRING TO THEM AN OPPORTUNITY FOR A BIGGER, BETTER, BROADER SERVICE TO THEE.
-
About once each week we would also use the violet ray (hand machine, large bulb applicator); not upon the spinal centers but rather along either side of the spine, over those areas of the sympathetic nervous system - in the area of the 9th dorsal and lumbar axis, between the shoulders - or the 2nd and 3rd dorsal to the base of the brain. It would be well also to use this across the diaphragm. Two minutes should be sufficient, but not hurrying through the application, rather being persistent in this.
-
Do these and we will bring better conditions for this body.
-

B2. 4/12/43 [3171]‘s letter to EC:
Dear Sir
I have started to read the book There Is A River. I am so impressed that I am sure you would be able to do something for me.
I had an accident 4 years ago. This was in the month of November. That trouble made a nervous trouble. The fear of hurting the ones I love the most. I am French born in Paris. I am 64 years of age. I look much younger. I had a similar trouble 14 or 15 years ago it lasted me 2 years. 1/2 went away very well up till this accident occurred. I am not very happy as you may well know. Thanking you in advance for any advice you could give me.
Most Respectfully Yours
I work every day.
