This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 2nd day of September, 1943, in accordance with request made by the husband - […], new Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research and Enlightenment, Inc., recommended by Mr. [2754].

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. (Notes read to and transcribed by Jeanette Fitch.)]

Time of Reading 4:00 to 4:05 P. M. Eastern War Time. New York, N.Y.

  1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

  2. EC: Yes, we have those conditions about this body, [3192].

  3. As we find, in the main, conditions are understood by those making suggestions for corrections in the present.

  4. Under the circumstance, in the main, we wouldn’t change things.

  5. These will be progressive, in a nature, unless there is the ability - through the stimulating of the glandular force by the excesses of the vital energies created by the vitamins and the administrations - to destroy the destructive forces. If such stimulation is supplied, and assimilated, these conditions may be retarded.

  6. But this is a case of a lacking in the elements of hormones that go to make up nutriment for nerve plasm.

  7. Use that being given for the present. When there has begun to be less ability to use self (should this not react in the present), then other things can be given. We would not interfere under the existent circumstance, for this would cause disturbance in many conditions.

  8. Ready for questions.

  9. (Q) Would she satisfactorily weather child birth without any further deterioration of her physical condition? (A) This will depend upon the manner in which she will be cared for. She might or might not dependent upon the supply of nutriment to the body and the body’s ability to supply such to the offspring.

As we find, it would not be the most advisable in the present.

  1. (Q) What are the chances for improving her condition and bringing her back to normal? (A) The chances depend upon whether you use that which will enable the condition to respond or not.

There are minds and there are opinions, and there are animosities. You are up against a hard proposition in meeting all of these, but choices must be made.

  1. We are through for the present.
