This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Va. 1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestion for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3206].

3. In giving the cause of such conditions as exist here, much that may not be considered from some angles would be taken into consideration. For, this is a prenatal condition. And there may only be that as might sustain life but not a cure here.

4. These would aid in some relief and prolong conditions.

5. This is a condition where, in conception, there were faulty cells - from conditions existing in the activities bringing about such conception. This, then, is in the bone structure in a portion of the head as indicated in this side of the head - about the ear. This is of a sarcoma nature in the present. It is slow, because of the very nature of the cellular force.

6. The conditions developing as the abrasions on portions of the body, and those particularly about the eyelid and the eye, are indications of the growth or of the nature of the conditions.

7. Those applications that have been made have retarded but have not been curative.

8. Hence the better applications in the present, as we find, would be the use of the ultra violet with the projection of green glass between the ultra violet and the body thus bringing the rays in such nature or proportions as to be retarding to the infection that forms in the soft tissue of the bone as well as of the skin itself.

9. This should be the Mercury Quartz Lamp, not the Carbon Lamp. This we would use about every other day, or two or three times a week, for a minute or minute and a half. The light should be at least forty-two inches from the body, while the green glass would be fourteen inches from the body. An ordinary piece of plate glass but green in color, may be used - a piece about ten by twelve inches.

10. This do, for any help or relief. This will not correct the disturbance.

11. Apply this to the side of the head, you see. After some weeks, the length of time may be gradually increased to two, three or four but never more than five minutes.

12. Ready for questions.

13. (Q) Can the deafness be helped? (Reducing the bone would help the deafness, so perhaps that is most important.) (A) The deafness is produced by the mass that has formed about the organs of hearing. This may not be helped. It will be relieved as to tension but not as to hearing.

14. (Q) Can the abscess on his eye be cured? (A) This can be dried by the use of the Light, but it would be more in order to apply a lotion there, prepared in this manner: Obtain an equal quantity in weight of sweet cream and Plantain. Cook this together, the fresh cream and the fresh Plantain. Apply as a cream or lotion.

This, with the light, will clear the condition, but not cure same.

B1. 6/6/43 Mother’s letter: “He has been an invalid since he was between 3-4 years old. No doctor, & we have seen hundreds of them, & he has spent much time at the John Hopkins Hospital, has been able to diagnose his case. Perhaps it is too late, but I’m always hoping.”
