This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 14th day of September, 1943, in accordance with request made by the self - Dr. [3215], new Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., recommended by the book, THERE IS A RIVER.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. (Notes read to and transcribed by Jeanette Fitch.)]

Time of Reading 3:45 to 3:55 P. M. Eastern War Time. …, Calif.

  1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

  2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3215].

  3. As we find, there are conditions that may be assisted in the present toward correction, as to prevent a great deal of disturbance in the body later, for there are those unbalanced conditions chemically that are gradually causing a “letting down” of the vital energies in the centers that coordinate with the impulses of the mental body, and the activities of the central nervous system.

  4. Thus the tiredness that is experiences by the body often, a stiffness in portions of the body activities, other than that experienced by the natural hindrances that are a part of the locomotion of the body.

  5. These are shown specifically in the centers of the 9th dorsal area and in the 3rd cervical area. These as we find, in the blood supply, bring about irregularity at times, slowing up of circulation through the lower portion of the body, and a quick pulsation at times through the lungs and the torso area; while at other times, as these are subsiding; we find those tendencies towards a fullness in the head, the throat, even in the chest at times.

  6. In making corrections for these, as we find, - we would use the Wet Cell Appliance in the same manner as the Radio-Active. These vibrations would bring for the body a stimuli that would be most beneficial.

  7. Other forms of electricity overcharge at times and prove to be effective for a short period, but these in this form - in the low cellular force that builds to central portions of the body - will be most helpful. This should be applied only when the body is tired and for a period of thirty to sixty minutes. This may be done twice a day for thirty minutes, or once a day for sixty minutes, but not more than twice a day.

  8. Following each application of the Wet Cell Appliance, give the body a thorough massage - in the form of a full Swedish massage. This should include a stimulating of the areas especially in the 9th dorsal and throughout the cervical area.

  9. These do.

  10. And add to the body the vitamins B-1 complex.

  11. Do these and we will make for much better conditions for this body, [3215].

  12. Ready for questions.

  13. We are through with this reading.
