This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 18th day of March, 1944, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [3233], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.
[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. (Notes read to and transcribed by Jeanette Fitch.)]
Time of Reading At home, 11:55 to 12:00 A. M. Eastern War Time. …, N.Y.
-
GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time with suggestions for further corrective measures, answering the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes - this we have had here before, [3233].
-
As we find, there are improvements.
-
Do not be overanxious but consistently, persistently, keep in those ways of application to build up the general health and the specific conditions for the organs of the sensory system, and the eyes will gradually improve.
-
Do not distress the eyes too much by too sudden changes, as from dark to light, yet activity of the body in subdued lights would be helpful - though do not concentrate these activities too severely.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Is there any improvement in the condition of eyes? (A) As indicated there is improvement in the general health and in the eyes.
-
(Q) Should the same diet be continued? (A) We would continue with the same diet, changing only as the Spring vegetables come; keeping close to those that have been given that contribute to the activity of vision. Carrots in every form. Raw vegetables often, prepared frequently with gelatin and in other manners that have been indicated.
-
(Q) Will photography, lights and dark room work bother my eyes or general condition? (A) As indicated if not concentrated too much or for too long a period, this may be used as the means for general benefit - if not too severe.
-
We are through for the present.

R1. 1/28/48 [3233]‘s letter:
Dear Sir:
I have before me a copy of a Psychic reading of myself dated Sept 24th 1943 [3233] or Mrs. [3233].
I wish to start this reading of Edgar Cayces and go back again on the suggestions he advised.
In this reading it mentioned the druggist in Virginia Beach who could fill this compound. Is there any way I can get his address. So I may get the compound.
I know that Mr. Cayce has gone but he’s still lives here with us.
R2. 2/9/48 HLC’s letter:
Mrs. [3233] …, N.Y.
Dear Mrs. [3233]
We were very glad to have your letter of January 28th as we were out of touch with you since we did not have your proper address.
I am happy to know you are going to follow the reading’s suggestions again. Evidently, you benefited to some extent through your first reading.
The address of the drugstore is Meredith Drug Company, #1, 17th Street, Virginia Beach, Virginia. If you will simply have them call us on receipt of your letter, we will give them the prescription and check it to be sure it is properly filled for you.
May I suggest that it might be possible for you to prepare this yourself very simply by securing the ingredients in exact quantities from Eimer and Amend, 18th Street and 3rd Avenue, New York, N.Y.
We will appreciate it very much if you will give us a report on your first physical reading, indicating how much improvement you obtained and just what osteopath gave the corrections which were suggested.
Sincerely, Hugh Lynn Cayce HLC/dm Encl - Report Form Blank
