This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 24th day of March, 1944, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [3247], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

1. GC: You will give the physical conditions of this body at the present time with suggestions for further corrective measures, answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.

3. As we find, there continues to be disturbances through the whole of the abdominal area, where there are those tendencies for lesions or too great quantities of cohesion that is active with the lymph circulation.

4. We find that either of two manners may eliminate these conditions entirely. One may carry with it those problems of an eventual return, or becoming much more severe, that would be operative measures. For where any portions of the body tend to adhere - as the bladder or intestines - and cause adhesions and lesions, these may be broken up by operative forces; but these may then cause greater adhesions, unless there are measures taken to prevent such.

5. We would use the Castor Oil Packs each day over the abdominal area; that is, about three to four to five days in succession each week for many weeks, until improved, and then one or two days each week for an indefinite period.

6. After each week’s series of the Castor Oil packs, take internally a big dose of Olive Oil, or if preferable take the Olive Oil in small doses three to four times a day during the last two or three days of each series.

7. Also following each series of the Packs, give the body a massage over the abdomen, gently to remove the lesions. This should be done by a good neuropath or osteopath.

8. Each day when removing the Pack it would be well for the body to massage gently the whole abdominal area, but once a week following the entire series, have the gentle massage by the neuropath or osteopath.

9. Also twice each week we would have the short wave electrical treatments to eliminate or break up or take away the adhesions.

10. This may take longer, but it will be surer and be more of a definite or permanent elimination of the sources of the disturbance.

11. We find that a change of climate would be well, and we would change to Clearwater, or Clearwater Beach. For there the entity may obtain both the massage and the short wave electrical treatments, or the facilities for using such.

12. Ready for questions.

13. (Q) Is it necessary to continue weekly shots of Theelin or Estrogenic hormones? (A) If these disturbances are to be removed, remove the sources and not add those things that would leave sediments. We would eliminate the shots.

14. (Q) Am I going through ‘change of life’? (A) Not as yet. The inflammation is causing irregularity and the conditions arising give evidence of the disturbances in the glandular forces.

Do as indicated.

We would prefer the using of the Castor Oil Packs and the massages five or six times a week, with the short wave treatments twice a week, as the method; though the operative measures may be used - with the possibility of greater trouble later on from the same sources.

I would like to report on the recent use by my wife of the castor oil treatment given in the Cayce readings.

For a number of years my wife has been troubled by the growth of small cysts on her uterus. Around once each year her doctor has had to cauterize or burn them off. During the last two or three years the doctor has stated that they were becoming so numerous that he felt that she should have an operation as there might be danger of eventual cancer. We had previously used the radio-active appliance built according to specifications given in the readings, however this had not seemed to help this particular problem. Then we obtained the A.R.E.’s file on Cystitis [containing case 3247-1 and 3247-2] and decided to try the castor oil packs. This was around six months ago right after the doctor had examined her and told her that she should think seriously about having the operation.

Around a month ago we gave my wife the castor oil pack treatments and the intervening rubs with a mixture of peanut oil and olive oil recommended in one of the readings. We gave her two series of the treatments and then stopped them altogether. Just last week my wife visited the doctor for an examination. Prior to examining her he joked about getting ready for a rest-visit to the hospital to have the operation. BUT following the examination he said not a word about operations! Instead he just said that she was much better and would not have to come back for an examination for a couple of years! He had found only two small cysts on the uterus, rather than the mass which he had expected.

We did not rely upon the castor oil packs alone for this healing, but we used prayer as well. I am convinced that it was this combination which turned the tide for us. Had we had one without the other, I doubt that the healing would have taken place.
