This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 27th day of February, 1926, in accordance with request made by her son, Mr. [257].

Time of Reading 12:10 Noon - Eastern Standard Time. N.Y. City.

1. GC: You will give the physical conditions of this body at the present time, with suggestions for the further improvement of same.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. We have had it before, you see.

3. Now, we find the body feeling somewhat better this morning.

4. Now, for the betterment of the physical conditions, which have become exaggerated through some retraction as is seen in system, we would need only to carry out those suggestions as have been given for the body; taking those manipulations of the osteopathic forces as have been given, more often, or sufficient to get a full reaction rather than a retraction by the slow means, or far apart, see? and by the application for the equalization of the body of those vibrations as found in the Radio-Active Appliance, using the wrist as the negative; that is, attach the anode to the wrist AFTER the one has been attached to the ankle, see? and have plenty of ice in the crock container, see?

5. Do this, and we will bring about the better conditions for this body. These are rather retractions as we see at the present time, through the distress caused in shoulder, in arm; [neuritis?] the rising of those conditions from the stomach. This should be attached, you see, at least two and half to three hours each evening - better in evening, see?

6. (Q) How often should the osteopathic treatments be given? (A) Every other day until the body is greatly improved.

7. We are through with this reading.

R1. 2/27/26 EC’s letter to Mr. [257]: “I’m afraid she hasn’t been getting enough of the osteopathic treatments. I think she got just about enough to get her stirred up, something like it is when you take a dose of liver medicine and don’t take enough - it makes you sick. I’m certainly in hopes she will soon be feeling much better.”

R2. 3/4/26 Her ltr.: “I rec’d your rdg. of me and it was, as usual, good.

I have tried the battery. The first night I had no ill effects but the second time I took a weak spell, seemed that I could not breathe around the heart, but it has passed away. Today it seems that I can’t stand any kind of battery - they affect me that way. I have taken four treatments for my arm. It really is better. One can’t get over something so easily that has been there so long. [Flare-up from old injury.] [257] gets impatient when he hears that I do not feel well. I shall not tell him again - he worries too much about it. I shall take the tr. and let you know how I feel after them. Thanks so much for the kind attention that you always give me. I put in a good word for you whenever I can… We have very cold weather here and the street noise is terrible. I expect that I will get used to it as time moves on.”

R3. 3/11/26 Daughter [460] wrote: “Mother has been taking the manipulations and feels a great deal better now. She gets to feeling all right and then little ‘mother’ worries come up and undo all the good that has been done.”
