This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 22nd day of April, 1930, in accordance with request made by self - Mrs. [325].
[Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]
Time of Reading 4:10 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Physical Suggestion)
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here, Mrs. [325] - this we have had before. Conditions are not much changed physically from that as we have had before. While there have been some advancements in the conditions as cause distress, yet the distresses have been produced most by an overtaxing of the body physically, and of worries that have caused the mental deviation from that being applied through the mental forces OF the body.
-
We would keep much of that as has been outlined for the body. While those conditions are aided somewhat in the massage as HAS been given recently, if the massage were more of the nature as was FORMERLY given - so that there would be the coordination in assisting eliminations without attempting to deviate from the normal connections, by making corrections in the cerebrospinal area - we would find bettered conditions for the body.
-
Do not give the narcotic except WHEN NECESSARY!
-
Keep up the ash in the manner as is given. Give this in water, EMPTYING same from capsule before giving.
-
Also, well that the light be applied to the brachial centers at least during the thirty to sixty minute period AFTER taking same. Not IMMEDIATELY after taking same, but allow for at least thirty minutes BEFORE the light is given, see? for this assists in releasing oxygen within the system.
-
Do that. Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Is the lamp satisfactory? (A) Very good; not wholly satisfactory, but very good.
-
(Q) Is quantity of ash given alright? (A) Quantity alright. Give it properly, and give the treatments following same properly - not just haphazard.
-
(Q) Can body go out of doors? (A) Just so TOO much exercise or exertion is not taken.
-
(Q) Can new Dr. Jerwin of 514 W. 114th St., N.Y.C., carry out treatments as directed? (A) As to the abilities or qualifications, we would not give other than that as we have outlined. We are through with this reading.

Reports & Follow-up
R1. 5/1/30 Mrs. [325] wrote: “I am feeling just fine after a two weeks relapse. I went out and overtaxed myself and had one terrible week of exhaustion. I know the doctor’s manipulation was too strong for my strength. We took out the shield of the lamp and I am as brown as a berry from a ten minute treatment. My cough is also disappearing and all in all I am feeling fine again. Thank God, not forgetting to give the readings their due credit. I am more satisfied now, as the boys have found a wonderful factory and all four are working together again. I do hope this time they will succeed and be the brothers in spirit that they used to be. Then I know that I will be well both in mind and in body once more.”
R2. 5/5/30 Son [257]‘s letter: “Mother is much better and Dr. Albert Mayer [M.D.] told me yesterday that her pulse is stronger and that he wants to take another x-ray to check up the first one. He said no question but that the lamp has done her a lot of good and her lung has cleared up wonderfully.”
