This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 5th day of October, 1943, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [3264], new Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research and Enlightenment, Inc., recommended by the book, THERE IS A RIVER.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3264].

3. As we find, while there are disturbances physically we find that these may be best met with the general attitude of the body if there are the body electrical forces applied; that is, with the Radio-Active Appliance. Use this for thirty minutes twice each day, and let those periods be set aside for prayer and meditation. Thus we will bring a better balance to these body forces. The frayed or weary nerve centers will be rejuvenated. The body forces and circulations, where irritations have caused weakness in the limbs, will be much bettered.

4. Also each evening when ready to retire we would use, for about a minute and a half to two minutes, a gentle massage with a very low vibration of the Violet Ray (hand machine, bulb applicator). This will also assist in charging the centers of the body, as the equalizing is accomplished through the Radio-Active Appliance. This should be used along either side of the spine rather than directly on the spinal column itself, and along those areas that connect with the sciatic centers.

5. Do these for better conditions for this body, [3264].

R1. 10/24/43 [3264]‘s letter to EC: “I received your very interesting and helpful letter on Oct. 9 and wish to send you my sincere thanks for the message which it contained. I surely was much encouraged after reading its contents.

“You may be interested to know that while sitting in the quiet, as suggested, I felt a warmth through my body and particularly in my legs and feet. This sensation was not one of excessive heat but more on the order of a glow.

“I haven’t as yet been able to acquire ‘The Radio-Active Appliance’ which was suggested as a help.

“When may I expect to hear from you again?”
